Part 9 art, not my base.

(I'm just gonna start calling Wooly Lamb's ear leaves, Lamb's leaf, to make it simpler)

The two finally got back to camp, Cinder who was sorting through the herbs looked at them with a smile about to greet them, but that smile faded when she saw Rowdy's back all bloody.

"What in the name of StarHerd happened to you?!" Cinder gasped,

"Wolf attack." Rowdy mumbled stumbling to his nest to lay down, Cinder flicked a worried ear at her mentor before trotting over to him and sniffing the wound. "Storm get me some marigold and goldenrod." Cinder ordered, but the dark grey mare only stood there staring at the ground wide eyed.

"Storm! Please get the herbs, or Rowdy's wound will get worst." Cinder yelled, snapping Storm out of her thoughts squeaking she scurries to the herb store to get the correct herbs Cinder requested.

After Storm found the herbs she helped Cinder dress Rowdy's wound that had, thankfully, stopped bleeding,

"Don't worry Row, I know what I'm doing remember a fully trained Med-horse." Cinder tried to crack a joke only for it to be replaced by worry when the stallion heaved a heavy sigh..

"I'm fine don't worry, I've had worst..." Rowdy trailed off tiredly his eyes drooping

"Rowdy your not fine, stop saying you don't need help." Storm snapped sternly, said stallion glanced up at her with a pained face.

"Right....sorry." He muttered,

Storm smiled weakly, "I'm sorry you had to take the wolf bite...It should of been me." Storm mumbled,

"Don't apologize I'm glad it was me who took the bite and not you." Rowdy grunted his reddish/brown eyes were soft, suddenly he looked away with flattened ears, and refused to meet her gaze.

'Why does he always do that!?' She thought in frustration

"That's about all I can do..." Cinder trailed off as she finished putting lamb's leaf on the wound for a bandage,

"Thank you Cinder." Rowdy said softly, the white mare grinned her ice blue eyes sparkling,
"No problem Row Row." She said, going back to sort herbs

"I'll go help her." Storm said swiftly before bounding away leaving a confused Rowdy behind.

--

"Storm you should rest." Cinder said in a quiet tone,

"No, I need to talk to you about Rowdy." Storm responded in a similar tone,

"Oh~" Cinder snorted while wiggling her eyebrows making Storm pin her ears in embarrassment
"No! Not like that !" She whispered/yelled,

Cinder giggled at the flustered mare, "Okay Okay go ahead talk."She said,

"Have you noticed how weird he's been acting?" Storm started

"He seems like the same old Rowdy."

"I mean doesn't he look ....I don't know .....depressed?"

"Now that I think about it he has seemed a bit distant." Cinder said flicking her ear,

"SEE?!?"

"Quiet, you'll wake him!" The white mare snapped,

"Sorry.... but seriously does he have any family members or something?"

"I have no clue, sorry Storm. Oh shoot we're out of Lamb's leaf, I'll go collect some you take care of grump butt." Cinder said, trotting out of camp.

Storm groaned in annoyance before she check Rowdy's wound again....
