Part 15 art, not my base.

Morning came all too quickly for Storm, she was having a amazing dream while something warm was curled around her.

Unfortunately that warm figure or in other words Rowdy had to get up, and prepare for his journey to Ice Mountain, meaning he would be gone all day and the others had nothing to do...other than a possible medical emergency.

"Rowdy, please let one of us come with you." Cinder fretted, unaware of a waking Storm.

"No Cinder, it's my turn to go and I'm going to go alone." He snapped lightly

"But you're not fully healed yet, please ju-" Cinder sighed when Rowdy had cut her off with a glare,

"Do I look like a foal or an elder to you?" He growled

"No.." Cinder trailed off as her gaze hit the ground in shame

"Then I'll be fine, I understand your concern Cinder, but I'm old enough to take care of myself." Rowdy stated

"Fine...just don't do anything stupid." Cinder huffed, "We can't loose you just yet, Storm would be heartbroken." She giggled out before walking over to Emerald and Blood.

Just as Rowdy was about to leave, Storm's voice made him stop in his tracks

"Going somewhere?" She asked

"I'm leaving to go to Ice Mountain." Rowdy sighed, looking behind him

"For how long?"

"All day, and before you say anything, no you are not coming with me." He said plainly

Storm sighed "I wasn't going to say that." She says narrowing her eyes,

"Yes you were, I see that your lying, you need to remember I have kids, I know when you're lying and when you're not." Rowdy chuckled slightly at Storm's shocked expression 'She's too easy to read.'

"Okay...fine I was going to ask that, but please stay safe." Storm snapped

"I promise I'll stay safe, no need to worry about me Storm." Rowdy grunted out before he left

'You're all I worry about though...' Storm thought with flattened ears as she walked back into camp.

~Time skip~

Rowdy slowly climbed to steep path up to Ice Mountain, sure his hooves slipped every now and then but it was nothing to be scared of, right?

"Rowdy!" Frodo's voice chirped, looking up Rowdy saw a grey head peaking over the top of the pathway, bright orange orbs lit up happily when the locked onto the tan stallion.

"Hey Frodo." Rowdy greeted as he finally made it to the top.

"Lovely weather eh?" Frodo joked while looking at a snowflake

"I would say more annoying than lovely." Rowdy grumbled shaking his pelt free of it's icy embrace

"So....how's life?" Frodo questioned walking towards the Ice pool

"Okay I guess, defiantly better than its been, and you?" Rowdy asked in return

"Sadly, Two-legs had made camp next to my medical den, I've been kicked out of my own home." Frodo sighed

"If you want you could come to our camp." Rowdy said lightly.

The grey stallion smiled "If it's alright with you and the others I would enjoy spending time with a old friend." Frodo beamed

"You should know by now that we aren't friends, were brothers." Rowdy snorted

"Yeah yeah okay, my brother from another mother, got it." Frodo said with a grin as Rowdy shook his head chuckling

"Your still weird."

"Your still grumpy."

"Touche."

When their conversation was over, the two stallions drank from the Ice pool before falling into their dreams with StarHerd.

~Rowdy's Dream~

Rowdy's eyes cracked open, lifting his head he gazed around the familiar star covered meadow,

Perking his ears at the sound of hoof steps he turns to look over his shoulder,

Grey eyes clashed with red ones,

"S-Scarlet?" Rowdy whispered

The mare smiled, "Hello my love."

He didn't reply, instead he launched himself at her, and the two landed in a heap on the ground.

Scarlet landed on top of Rowdy, her shocked and startled face turned into one of amusment and joy.

"Hi." She said with a slight laugh,

Rowdy let out a breathy chuckle, "Hi."

The stallion lifts his head up to rub muzzles with his mate-former mate.

"I miss you." Rowdy sighs "and so do the kids."

"I know, and it pains me to see you all so hurt." Scarlet mumbles "But you still have a chance at a happy life."

"What do you mean?"

"Well you're still alive, and you have wonderful friends and family, you can still be happy, my love, you just need to allow others to help you."

"I'm not the best at talking..." Rowdy grunts

Scarlet snorts and gets off of him, "This I know, but you still need to try."

"Alright." He huffs "I'll give it a go." He says rolling off his back to stand

"Also.." Scarlet begins gaining the stallion's attention again "I want to warn you of something.."

Rowdy nodded for her to continue,

"Dark times will be upon you soon, the four must band together to defeat it." She says

Rowdy tilts his head, "What is up with Starherd horses saying such confusing stuff." He says frowning,

Scarlet merely laughs as her figure starts to fade, "I love you Rowdy and our children, never forget that, and keep your family safe."

Rowdy nodded solemnly as he watched her disappear, a few moments later he woke.

~End of Dream~

After his dream Rowdy woke up, looking to his right he saw Frodo stir before blinking his eyes tiredly trying to wake up.
"We should get going." Rowdy said yawning slightly

"Agreed." Frodo said catching Rowdy's yawn

"...."

"Darn you and your yawning." Frodo grumbled getting up as Rowdy chuckled

"Don't be angry with me, blame sleep."

"Sleep is a good thing though, why to all creatures have to yawn when they wake up?!"

"I don't know." Rowdy said as the walked down the path

"Not only that but why are yawns contagious!?" Frodo huffed

Rowdy merely shrugged as they proceeded down the side.
"..."
"..."

"So," Frodo started "Any new love interests in any mares?"

This made Rowdy freeze, sure he enjoyed Storm's company, but love, no it would be too soon to get a new mate.
"No."

"Aw come on Rowdy! There has to be one." Frodo pouted slightly when the tan stallion sighed and ignored him

"Which one is it Cinder or Storm?" Frodo continued

"Neither."

"No, tell me the truth."

"I am, and my answer is neither." Rowdy blankly

"Well I think you and Storm would make a cute couple." Frodo chirped with a grin, completely oblivious of Rowdy's panicked state.

But when Frodo started making weird couple names, that's when Rowdy lost it.

"I don't like Storm." He snapped, but Frodo knew Rowdy all too well...

"OHHH SNAP!" He shouted while grinning

"Frodo." Rowdy growled

"Oh my StarHerd, you like Storm! I ship it!" Frodo laughed out, rearing up like a goof

"Dude, calm down."

"UH NO, this is the best thing that could happen Row, you can finally get over your depression!" Frodo said smiling

"Ugg." Rowdy growled as he let his head droop

"This is awesome!"

"I don't like you at the moment." Rowdy said with a light glare before continuing the walk back to camp.
