My eyes shot wide open as I stared at him, mouth agape as I tried to say something but nothing seemed to come out. I forced myself to close my mouth lest I look like a damn goldfish but it didn't seem to work.

Calm your shit down.

I blinked a few times, trying to bring myself back to reality. Having noticed my state of shock, soft laughter erupted from him.

"Are you serious?" I managed to stutter after realization slowly sank in, still unable to believe my ears.

A smirk could be heard as he rolled his eyes, nodding in head. "Yeah."

"Um, just sayin', you know asking me this while we're in a hospital is kinda weird right... I kinda expected something more-"

"Romantic?" He cut me off abruptly, leaving me widening my eyes in disbelief again.

Speechless, I shrugged, but deep inside, I could hear my damn heart yelling and nodding exuberantly. Heart slamming furiously against my chest, I could feel my cheeks heating up as the seconds passed.

Taking in a deep breath, I could see Adam looking at me, still waiting for my answer with a tinge of worry on his face. Smile tugging at my lips, I decided to tease him a bit as I saw his cutely-worried face, if there was even such a description.

It was damn amusing seeing him this way.

Uh oh. That came out a little mean.

"Hm, what if... just saying what if, I say no?" I said, trying to hide the cheeky grin from my face.

I stared hard at his face, observing his face fall a bit as a tinge of sadness crossed his face. "Well... No worries. I'll still spend loads of time with you. I'm gonna take you out on dates and stuff like normal guys do. Hell, I'm not gonna give up that easil-"

"Hey, I was only joking..." I cut him off, pain sinking in my own chest seeing his crest-fallen look. However, I had to admit I was pretty damn impressed by what he had said.

"Huh?" He asked, confusion written on his face.

I let a small grin creep slowly into my face as I stared at him from under my fringe. "Yes."

"Huh?" He asked, still looking confused, as if he was trying to piece the contradicting information bestowed upon him together.

"I say yes." I replied, partially taking joy just looking at his confused expression.

Hell, it was cute.

After a few moments, his eyes finally lit up as a slight grin crossed his face, making me smirk at his fast reaction.

"Wait so you agree to be my girlfriend?" He asked, eyes brimming with happiness as he stared in my eyes with his excited ones.

I nodded, letting a smile creeping onto my face. My heart was dancing and flying in the sky in the same time (if it's even possible) as I heard Cher Lloyd's With Your Love song play merrily in my head.

Cuz you got me, flying with your love. Shining with your love. Riding with your love. I feel like I'm on top of the world with your love.

Sorry, I guess I'm random like that. I let my gaze fall on Adam as a smile tugged playfully at his lips.

His dimples.

My heart internally screamed and melted, making me scold myself mentally for not getting over his fascination with dimples. Heart thumping a little faster than usual, I diverted my gaze to his soft eyes.

"Damnit, I must be the luckiest guy in the world." I heard Adam mutter under his breath as a boyish smile crept onto the face, sending tingles down my spine.

"Well... I'm not the luckiest girl just yet..." I muttered, seeing Adam arch his eyebrow at me.

"I want food." I moaned, pouting my lips, seeing Adam sigh as he ran his hands through his hair in exasperation, sending me laughing.

"Don't you agree? Food is probably the best thing on earth man." I mumbled nearly inaudible, surprised that Adam could even hear me as I heard him snicker.

"I think I probably want to marry food." I continued, mind drifting to the idea of being able to spend my life with a Cookie.

An image of me in a wedding gown with a Chocolate Chip Cookie filled my mind, making me burst out laughing.

"COUGH." I heard Adam splutter loudly as he faked a few coughs, throwing me a disgusted look. "Are you freakin' kidding me?"

I frowned. "Nope." I replied, popping the 'P' purposely as I saw a frown tug at his lips.

"What about me?" He asked, arching his eyebrow at me, eyes looking as if willing for me to say something nice.

Meh, not so soon.

"Hm... I have to admit you are pretty damn awesome in lots of ways..." I slowly trailed off as a sly grin tugged at my lips.

"But, food is just better." I beamed, leaning close to him as I turned my head to the back, smacking him with my hair before doing an awesome hair flick.

Standing up, I walked to the door as I winked at him. "Get well soon." I smirked playfully as I closed the door behind me, pretty proud of myself for my 'awesome disappearance' as I spied a confused yet amazed look on Adam's face as I left.

Random tip from me: Always leave the guys wondering about something you did or say.

We girls are amazing creatures.
