"All around me are familiar faces. Worn out places, worn out faces, bright and early for their daily races. Going nowhere, going nowhere, their tears are filling up their glasses."
Song : Mad World.

I wished I had power over time, so I could go back and never leave her mother alone.
It was a painful heartbreaking event for all of us, we all wished that was just a nightmare that we would all eventually wake-up from. Its feels like when you try hardly to wake-up from that bad dream so fucking bad, but then you realize that it wasn't a bad dream, or a nightmare, it was the truth and pure realism. It was the painful truth that we all tried to ignore.
I still couldn't believe what happened. Neither did all of us to be honest, including my poor Anastasia. How could someone very close to your heart in a blink of an eye die, just like that, without a previous warning, nor a mere goodbye. It's so hard to lose someone that close to your heart, let along hearing the reasons why they died. It's been really outrageous news for all of us to be honest.
Everyone she loved was taken away from her. First her home and childhood, and now her own mother. The only person who stayed by her side and protected her for ages. She didn't deserve what happened to her, nor did her poor daughter. She was a kind woman who you'd be happy to be around; she had never hurt anyone nor treated them badly. Even though I didn't know her that well, my mother's friend who stayed with her told me everything. It was sad to lose such a brilliant woman like Anastasia's mother.
This wasn't fair. Like is unfair sometimes.
Saying she had a heart attack didn't get through my mind to be honest. I saw the doctor's information and they were all referring to a panic attack. Something bad was behind this case, and I was willing to find out.
I took a deep breathe as I stared from the big window which overlooked over the garden. Police cars and policemen entered and exited the house from everywhere. The place was going mad, and so did Anastasia.
I spotted Liam and Zayn near the front door; they were sitting with Anastasia, trying to calm her trembling and weak body, trying to stop those tears from streaming down and soaking her checks but in vain. She didn't say a word, nor look around her. She seemed to have a bottle between her mind and the pure reality. She stayed in the same condition from the second I told her the news; the breakdown at the restaurant was quite violent. We left earlier in rush after Zayn's phone call. Nonetheless I wouldn't blame her. It was a massive lost.
From the corned of my eyes, I noticed Sophia and Eleanor preparing something to her in the kitchen; she didn't eat since I told her so. Niall was as well helping them; sadness was the only emotion which were taken over their faces. As I noticed Louis taking a few steps toward me.
"Do you need anything mate?" Louis' tick voice spoke as I darted my attention toward his figure, which was standing in front of me by then.
"I'm fine." I answered quickly; as I kicked away my prior thoughts.
"You should be there, by her side." Louis said, warmly, as he looked sadly toward my broken Anastasia.
"I just can't Louis, it's so fucked up knowing that someone is hurting but you have nothing to do about it." I said, biting my lips furiously trying to hold back my anger and rage.
"I know mate, but still you should be the one standing by her side. Didn't you allow her to answer your fucking phone calls?" Louis said, trying to light up my mood, but still his words didn't affect me.
