Once they arrived at the cafe they entered and sat at a table close to the door.
Lily was still wondering why she even came in the first place. Maybe she was still confused or maybe she's just so hungry she didn't care about dignity.
Not long after a waitress cand over and took there order before they were left alone, again.
"So tell me what's your name?" The man asked.
"Why don't you tell me that first." Lily backfired.
"Alright if you want to know so badly it's Eugene."
"Really? I wouldn't have guessed that."
"And why is that?" Eugene asked.
"Eugene is a respectable name and I figured it would be adorned by a respectable man."
"Okay stop talking like that, with your Mary Poppins self. Seriously. Right now I wouldn't be surprised if a chimney sweep with a talking umbrella came in here and started singing step in time. You're like the most posh not British person I've met." Eugene teased.
"I'm not British." Lily said in a 'duh' sort of tone.
"I know your not- you know what whatever. So what's your name?" Eugene asked again.
"Lily." She answered simply.
"Nice. You know lily I don't normally do this."
"What? Taking your one night stand out to breakfast for another chance to get lucky to make up for your pathetic excuse for a life." She stated.
"Yep. You know you got that spot on. Yes because all I want is to have sex with you again." He said sarcastically.
"Then what?"
"I normally don't stay. I'm usually gone by now. But I stayed for you, I even took you out to breakfast."
"I didn't ask for you too."
"I know. I honestly don't know why I stayed. I could've just left after I checked us out but I stayed, why?" He wondered.
"How am I suppose to know?"
"I never said you did."
"So why did you?" Lily asked.
"I don't know. But I want to. What was it about you?"
"Two cheese omelettes."
They both looked up to find the waitress from earlier there.
"Oh thank you." Lily said.
"Okay, enjoy." The waitress set the plates down.
"And I'm so sorry I forgot to ask earlier, but would you like anything to drink?"
"Coffee." They both said in unison.
Lily gave Eugene a weird look before turning back to the waitress.
"Two coffees please." Lily repeated.
"Okay be right back." She said before leaving once again.
"Airhead." The both mumbled but it was loud enough for the other to hear it.
They looked up from their plates and gave each other strange looks.
"Here you are. Two coffees." The waitress placed the cups down before leaving once again.
They both reached towards the basket filled with small creamers.
"Oh sorry." The both said.
"Go ahead." Lily said.
Eugene then took the creamer out of the basket and lily did as well right after.
Simultaneously they opened the packet and poured it into their cup then they grabbed their spoons and stored in the creamer.
Then they both picked up their cups and took a sip.
"Nice."
"Stop doing that." Lily said.
"Stop doing what?"
"Stop saying things at the same time as me."
"I can't help it!" Eugene defended.
"Well help it."
"Ugh!"
"Stop that!"
"No you stop!"
"Ugh!"
"Okay let's just eat. It will keep us from talking and you'll shut up." Lily said.
"Hey-"
"Shh, just eat."
