"I'm sorry but I have to let you go." Lily's boss announced.
"What? Why?"
"It's just that the shop is in a load of debt right now and we needed to let go someone. Unfortunately that was you." Her boss explained.
"But-"
"I'm sorry. Hand over your apron."
Lily swiftly but sadly untied her apron and handed it to her now former boss.
"Come tomorrow to receive your last pay check." Was the last thing that was said before lily headed home.

"Oh hey. I made pizza if you want any." Casedey said as Lily entered the apartment.
"I'm good."
"Hey did something happen?"
"I got fired."
"Oh sweetie." Casedey quickly got up and hugged Lily as if her life depended on it. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay."
"I can put extra hours at my job until you can find a new one." Casedey reassured but Lily just nodded.
"I'm gonna go to bed."
"Okay."
Once she reached her room she broke down and began to cry like no tomorrow.
'This week has been terrible'
She sat down on her bed when she heard a loud Bing.
Eugene:
Hey how was your day?
Lily:
I'd rather not talk about it. Especially with you.
Eugene:

Lily:

Eugene:

But seriously what happened?
