11:0oAM THURSDAY

Saturday was approaching quickly and Lily couldn't contain her joy. Sure it wasn't Glenmor but it was a job-internship- a job doing something she loved.

She had spent all of last night after the phone call with Eugene and this morning humming to herself. It was a bit strange to Casedey because her usually cynical roomate is never this cheery.

"What's got you so happy. Wait, wait no let me guess. You just found out you aren't pregnant." Casedey spouted.

"What?! No." Lily laughed.

"Are you really this excited over a job?"

"Yes. I just hope this is a paid internship." Lily wished silently to herself.

"Well if those people don't see how talented you are they are just as stupid as those pricks at Glenmor."Casedey said happily.

"Haha, yeah. I guess." Lily's face drop led a bit.

"Hey. Glenmor or some shabby whole in the wall something is better than nothing." Casedey reassured.

"You're right. Hey there go out for breakfast."

Eugene had led a pretty normal life, as far as his standards go.

He had a couple of close friends and he went out a lot to the movies or a bar with them.

He hasn't had a lot of girlfriends maybe one or two serious relationships, but the longest they lasted were about a year or so.

After he got out of highschool he moved to New York to get away from his dad. He never had a great relationship with him and after his parents divorced it got even worse.

He doesn't want anything to do with his dad. And the only reason he is going to the party is because it's the only way to get him to leave him alone and quite calling him.

And as for his mom. He doesn't really talk to her all that much. And not because he doesn't want to but because she doesn't want to. She's completely distanced herself from her son. He often wondered why she just cut him off, he never knew why.

He was lying on his bed now. He had just woken up and felt really sick. He sat up and got very dizzy and his hands were clammy. His breath was shaky and he tried to calm down. He had a horrible dream, but he can't remember it that well. All he knew was that it was awful.

This happened to him a lot. He'd constantly have nightmares and then remember nothing the next morning, but he would still feel like crap.

He slowly got up from his bed and went out to the living room.

He sat down on the couch and sighed, sinking comfortably into the crease of the cushions.

'What should I do today?' He wondered.

Then he noticed his phone still sitting on the coffee table where he left it last night.
