Lily woke up to the sound of her alarm signaling her it was time for work.

She quickly got up and walked to the bathroom hopping into the shower. Once she got out she got dressed and grabbed her phone before heading out.

"Bye Casedey! See you later!"

"Bye." Casedey responded not taking her eyes off the tv.

Lily shook her head and laughed a little before shutting the door.

She made her way to the elevator and made her way in.

She almost reached the lobby when she received a text.

Eugene:
Hey...

Lily just shook her head at the text and didn't reply but she received another.

Eugene:
How are you?

She ignored it.

----

She kept receiving messages as she walked to work but once she began to work they finally stopped.

It was only when the last hour was coming up did she receive another message.

Eugene:
Are you okay?

Lily was getting annoyed so she decided to answer.

Lily:
Yes. And I'm at work right now. I can't talk.

Eugene:
Okay, I'll talk to you later.

----

Once she got home she immediately went to her too and plopped down on her bed. And she was about to fall asleep but she heard an all to familiar ding come from her brick of a phone.

Eugene:
Can you talk now?

Lily:
What do you want? It's late.

Eugene:
Why don't you answer?

Lily:
Maybe I don't want to talk to you.

Eugene:
Then why did you give me your number? Also explain to me how your phone works so well. Babe it's so old.

Lily:
Okay first no, no babe. And two it's a flip phone not a wagon. Why are you so surprised?

Eugene:
Maybe because the rest of the world who lives in the 21st century uses iPhones or some sort of touch screen device.

Lily:
Well I don't so deal.

Eugene:
Sassy!

Lily:
Shut up.

Eugene:
Haha

Eugene:
tell me something

Lily:
What?

Eugene:
Why are you so old fashioned. I mean you were the one who got drunk then you get so upset that you had sex out of marriage. And then you look like you freaking stepped out of the 90's. Not to mention your phone.

Lily:
Well I don't know. I mean. My parents are really old fashioned. Very traditional. Well it's not surprising that they are. So it makes sense that I'm like that.

Eugene:
What do you mean it's not surprising?

Lily:
Both my parents are immigrants from China. And they both grew up in a very traditional home.

Eugene:
Ah, I see

Lily:
Yep.

Lily:
Why am I even telling you this?

Eugene:
Because you love me:)

Lily:
Sure...

Eugene:
Haha

Lily:
Hey I'm tired I'm gonna go to bed.

Eugene:
Okay. Night;)

Lily was happy to have finally gotten rid of him, but if she was honest if she wasn't so tired she might have kept talking.

''What's with this guy?'
