Surprisingly when she walked in from work on Tuesday Chance was walking around on his phone. The first thing she noticed was that the hand he had the t-shirt over the night he stormed out was now in a cast. She shook her head. They made brief eye contact when she passed by him to get to the kitchen but neither of them said anything. She had decided to make dinner, she had been ordering take out for these past couple of days anyway.

"Whatcha makin'?" Chance asked.
"Well, hello to you too!"
He took a deep breath, he knew he had a lot of apologizing to do, time to swallow his pride.
"Hi, Bey" he corrected himself.
"How's your hand?"
"It.. Hurts" he admitted.
"How bad did you hurt it?"
"I have to leave the cast on for six weeks" he told her.
There was an awkward silence between them.
".. I was worried about you, ya know" she admitted.
He broke eye contact with her and looked at the floor, he was embarrassed by the whole situation, all this could've been avoided.
"I've never seen you that angry and then you weren't returning my texts.."
"I know, I shut down its just something about you Beyoncé it makes me fuckin crazy ever since I was a freshman in high school and had that teachers pet crush on you I've been crazy about you since day one" he told her.
She smiled, she always had a weak spot for him even if she should be really mad at him right now she wasn't that mad she was just glad he was safe.
"Oh SHIT! Bey the food!" She had meat sauce cooking, she was making pasta and it was burning a small fire started in the pot.
"Fuck!" She turned the stove off. Chance got the extinguisher and put it out before it got too crazy.
"Oh.. My god!" She said holding her chest. Her heart was still racing from the event that just took place.
"Well I guess we need dinner plans now, we can have sushi over conversations about how sorry I am and how I'll never be a psycho again?" Chance suggested.
"Only if you promise that last part is the truth" she tested.
"I promise I will never go off the deep end like that again, you're going to be my wife you told me you want to spend the rest of your life with me and I believe you, I can't let my jealousy get in the way of us being together."
"That's good to hear, sounds like you've been doing a lot of thinking while you were away."
"Hopefully my hand isn't the only thing that's on the mend" Chance smiled.
That smile, she found so cute she couldn't help but kiss him.
"Wow a kiss, I didn't expect that so soon" he admitted.
"I have other ways of punishing you for acting out like that" she smirked.
He raised his eyebrows at her "Hey! What does that mean?"
"Oh, nothing" she smiled.
"Cmon Bey I hope that doesn't mean what I think it means."
"Come on Chance the sushi place is gonna close soon" she said ignoring her fiancé.
"Am I on probation?"
"Don't you think you deserve it?" She asked.
"That's a trick question, don't you just want to punch me in the face as punishment instead?"
"Nope I think my idea is better."
"Oh boy" He sighed.
