---------------------------------------------------------I opened my eyes and sat upright on my bed. What the hell was that? I thought. It was a dream, idiot! Responded my extremely rude but correct subconscious.
What is wrong with me? Why am I having wierd dreams since 2 nights? I thought. First, I was running away from god knows what. And today, I saw a little girl's plight! Who was this girl? Who was that murderer? And why did they come in my dream? I thought.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to relax myself. I took my phone from beside my pillow and turned it on. Its bright light illuminated my tensed and tired face. 6:01. It showed. Its almost time to get ready for school. I thought.
I got off the bed and walked into the bathroom. I stripped down my comfy pajama and top, and jumped into the hot shower. After I was done, I wrapped the towel around my torso and walked into my closet. After spending an eternity of finding a perfect dress, I decided to go with this outfit.
Next, I straightened my hair and applied a small amount of eyeliner and mascara. Then, I applied a layer of lip gloss on my lips to finish my make up.
Just as I was about to leave my room, I saw something shining on my side table. When I went closer to it, I realized that it was the locket I had found in the haunted mansion. Oh! I had almost forgotten about it. I realized. I wore it and left my room.
"Good morning mom and dad!" I wished my parents who were currently having their breakfast.
"Morning, baby!" They replied in unison.
"Come have some pancakes." My mom suggested.
"No mom. I am fine. I am actually getting late. So, I will grab something from the starbucks on my way to school. Bye, love ya." I said and left my home.

I was at my locker when someone said, "Hi Abi." I turned around to see Jayden. Wait. Jayden? How did...? When did he...? What is he doing here? My mind was exploding with questions. "Yep. Its me!" Jayden answered my unasked question while grinning. My eyes filled with excitement and I had an unconscious smile on my face. Without thinking any further I ran towards him and gave him a tight hug. He returned the hug and started laughing.
"You said you were never coming back. Then what made you change your mind?" I asked him.
"First of all, it wasn't my decision. It was my father's choice not to come back again. Secondly, my mind didn't change. My father's did. Basically what happened is-" He started explaining but I cut him off.
