I watched over Ben whenever I was with Leia.

Luke was teaching me to feel things before they happen, having me wear a blind fold, then block light strikes with a practice sword.

We trained outside in the forest, where there were no distractions. I was doing fairly well until I heard a cry in the back of my mind.

I snapped and a feeling took me. I pulled off my blind fold and looked around. I focused on the direction where the sound seemed to come from and took off running.

Luke ran after me, confused out of his mind as to where I was going, "Sonja, what's wrong- oh my god!" Luke stopped in his tracks as we both saw a boy clinging the edge of a steep drop. I kept running, I knew if he fell, he would be crippled or worse.

"Help!" the boy called and I ran to him, taking his wrists and pulling. I tried to focus with the Force to help me, but I was able to use my own strength to drag him up.

I pulled his arms and when he was up, he hugged me tightly, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" he repeated and I laughed wryly.

I pushed him back to see if he was alright and I saw that he was a bit older than me, maybe six or seven. I smiled and rubbed some dirt from his face, "Hi...my name's Sonja...Sonja Dreka," I said.

He flushed a bright pink that made me giggle, "U-uh...my name's Poe Dameron...I- t-thanks for saving me," he was embarrassed.

I nodded and stood up, pulling him with me, "No problem, I heard you call and you needed help," I said and he bowed his head to me before looking over the edge of the cliff.

"I just got distracted...I was just playing with my model ship...it was an A-Wing, like my mother's," he sighed, sounding almost broken hearted.

I frowned, seeing the broken pieces. Luke walked up to us and rest a hand on my shoulder, I grinned up at him with a split second thought, "Can you help me and Poe make an A-Wing?!"

We headed back to the base after I explained and Poe stuck close to me, "You know Luke Skywalker...?" he asked quietly to me and I nodded.

"Luke's training me to be a Jedi," I said proudly and Poe looked at me with mystified eyes.

"You escaped Order Sixty-Six..." he mumbled and I didn't know what the meant, but Luke stopped in his tracks.

"We don't talk about that, Dameron. Where's your mother and father?" Luke asked and Poe frowned.

"My parents are out on a mission. They left me here...but when they get back, we'll go back to Yavin," Poe said and I raised my brows at this.

"You're alone?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No, a family friend is looking after me, but I like exploring when I'm not flying," he explained with a humble pride and I grinned.

"You're a pilot?!" I asked with excitement.

Luke watched us talk and smiled faintly. Though, I hadn't finished my training for the day, so I promised Poe that I'd see him the next day...

When that night passed to dawn, I ran down the corridor, with a little cart full of scrap parts, looking for Poe.

I found him outside at the end of the airfield, watching fighters take off as he sat up on a hillside. I waved to him as I pulled my cart up a path to him.

"How did you find me?" he asked with a sad smile, which I didn't understand.

"I'm a Jedi, Poe...I'm good at finding," I smiled warmly, which lifted his spirits only slightly as I reached him...and saw tears on his cheeks, "What's wrong?" I asked, cutting next to him.

His knees were pulled to his chest and he just looked down, shaking his head lightly, "My mom and dad...they lost contact...and nobody knows where they are," he sniffled and I frowned.

"Maybe they're just hiding out," I said, running his back with my right hand, I sat on his left side, "You never know...I never expected to be a Jedi, but now I'm training...and I have friends. Princess Leia, Han and Luke...and you, too," I smiled more warmly and he looked at me with wide, tear rimmed brown eyes.

"You-...you wanna be my friend?" he asked and I giggled.

"Yeah! I brought all this stuff so we could make you a new A-Wing!" I said with excitement and he was shocked.

"You meant it...? Oh, wow..." he was stunned and I grabbed my few tools, then we got to work...
