Good Morning, Beautiful :)

My eyes fluttered open, and for a second I was confused as to where I was. It was dark. I was warm and safe, but still my back was cold. My legs were intertwined with something else, and I raised my head. Light filled my vision as my eyes left the safety of Dan's chest- Dan. Had we... Fallen asleep together? I played my head back down on his chest and snuggled back into his embrace. He was asleep still, he wouldn't know. Our legs were intertwined and he had me wrapped in the sweetest hug.

I heard the sound of someone walking in the room. Wait, what room were we in? I don't remember what happened before I fell asleep. Then my eyes widened. Dan had told me... He told me he liked me last night. I smiled into his shirt, keeping my face covered as I heard the person get closer. Then they stopped.

"Phil, take a look at this," I heard PJ whisper.

"Hmm?" I heard a sleepy hum from Phil.

"Dan and Y/N. They fell asleep together!" PJ whispered back excitedly. Why was he so happy about that?

"Aww, they're cute!" Phil replied. "Let's give them some space, we don't want to make it awkward when they wake up."

"I have to head home soon, but what's for breakfast?" PJ asked as they walked farther and farther away.

"Pancakes!" Phil answered happily. I could tell they were a few rooms away by now, so I raised my head again to look around. When I looked up, Dan woke up and looked down at me, smiling sleepily.

"Good morning, beautiful," he whispered. I smiled uncontrollably and hugged him, inhaling deeply. He smelled so good.

"Morning," I whispered back.

"So was I dreaming, or did I hear that there would be pancakes for breakfast?" He laughed quietly. I giggled.

"There will be pancakes, don't worry," I said.

"Great, because I'm starving!" He said. "But... Could we stay here a little longer?" I smiled.

"Of course we can," I promised. I suddenly remembered the panic attack he had yesterday. "Are you feeling better?" He shrugged. I snuggled closer to him again. "You can talk to me, Dan."

"I know. I'm fine," he said, lying through his teeth.

"Promise?" I wondered. He hesitated for a long time before replying,

"Promise."

Before you get mad, I know this was  a short short chapter. But I don't have much time to write this weekend and there's still a lot on my mind with my family... Issue. I'm going to try and start updating regularly again but I might change to every two days instead. I apologize, loves! But I think this was cute too.
