(Your Perspective)
My eyes opened quickly at the sound of furious knocking. Looking around, I realized I must have fallen asleep; Dan and I had begun watching a movie once he was all bandaged up. Still half asleep, I attempted to stand before Dan chuckled and stood up to get the door himself.
"Phil?" He exclaimed at once.
"Dan, I need to talk to you." Phil spluttered, seemingly exhausted.
"What's wrong with you? Did you run up the stairs?" Dan joked, but the smile fell from his face when Phil simply nodded and ran into the apartment, collapsing on the couch. I gasped.
"You dyed your hair?!" I observed, staring at him.
"I... Um... Yes." Phil replied, his eyes nervously flitting around. He grabbed Dan's hand and pulled him through the room and into the kitchen, out of earshot.
Though I knew I shouldn't, my curiosity got the best of me and I tiptoed over to the doorway, listening intently.
"I don't know what happened, Dan! I froze everything, and my hair turned silver, and-" Phil began.
"Calm down. Weren't you in the freezer section? That stuff is already frozen mate, that's kind of where it gets its name." Dan chuckled.
"No, it was worse! Like... It was snowing inside the fridge! I swear, Dan!"
"Are you sure you aren't just stressed out from everything that's been happening lately?" Dan asked. Phil sighed in defeat.
"I don't know. You'll never believe me... I just have to show you!"
I heard a whoosh and a series of crashes and noises, including Dan's (not at all girly) high-pitched scream. I rushed into the room to figure out what happened. I saw Dan backed against a wall, Phil staring at his outstretched hand in awe, and a dining chair frozen and shattered on the floor. It seemed to be snowing in the kitchen. Wait, what?!
"What just happened?!" I shouted. Phil's eyes widened as he turned to look at me. Dan stepped closer to me, obviously wary.
"I think I'm a superhero," Phil said.
"I wouldn't stretch that far," Dan laughed awkwardly. "But you've got some freaky ability there."
"So do you, apparently!" Phil replied. Dan scratched the back of his head, shrugging.
"I don't know," he said.
"Wait, what?" I asked, turning towards him.
"Yeah um... I'd show you, but I don't particularly want to burn the house down," he answered. My eyes widened.
"Um..." I struggled to find something to say. "How...?"
"Well I think I know why, but I have no clue what happened to Phil. I might've messed with some meds in the hospital..."
"You what?!" I yelled. "You could have died!"
"In my defense, I was super drugged up from surgery, and the doctors left me alone in the room."
"Still, I can't bel-"
"Well I think I know what happened to me then," Phil laughed. "After you almost cut your arm off, some of your blood got on my hand."
"So?" Dan asked.
"It glowed blue and disappeared."
"Okay yeah, that might mean something."
I was so overwhelmed by information that all I could do was laugh. Soon we were all laughing, tears spilling from our eyes.
"Wait a minute," I giggled, "Does that mean Dan is on fire?" Phil and I broke into a fresh batch of giggles.
"I so need to change my username," Dan laughed, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Do you think our fans would freak? I just can't deal with that irony," he said to Phil.
"I'm sure you'll be fine," he replied, as we kept laughing.
