Just a warning that there is a panic attack in this chapter. If you think this may trigger you in any way, skip the chapter and feel free to message me! I will fill you in on what happened. Enjoy! (I will warn you when the scene begins.)

We just arrived at Dan and Phil's apartment... Oh my God, I can't believe I can say that just like it's a normal occurrence! I'm their... Friend. That's insane to me, still.

Phil had already ordered Chinese, and Dan was busy popping popcorn in the microwave- lots of popcorn! Phil and I were very happy about that.

The doorbell rang and Phil went to answer it, expecting Chinese. Instead, he opened the door to reveal a soaking wet and shivering PJ Liguori, smiling pathetically.

"Oh my goodness, PJ!" Phil exclaimed. "What happened?"

"Well, you see..." PJ started, quietly. "Someone kind of... Stole my car." Phil and I gasped, along with Dan(who had come to the door when he heard PJ). Dan instantly became enraged.

"How did that happen? I'll kill that motherfu-"

"Dan!" Phil chastised.

"What happened?!" Dan restated.

"Well, I was about a mile away from here when my brakes started to sound odd, so I pulled over to check them." PJ explained. "I still didn't know what the problem was, so I walked into the gas station I was at for some help and apparently I forgot to lock my car door, because when I walked out of the store with a worker to help me... My car was gone!"

"Did you leave your keys in the car?!" I asked, astounded.

"No, of course not." He replied. Right. He's too smart to do that. "The person must've hotwired it," he continued.

"That still doesn't explain why you're soaking wet," Dan pointed out.

"Right. It started downpouring, so I decided that instead of waiting in a gas station with nothing to do about the mess I was in, I'd walk to your guys' place. In pouring rain... With no jacket."

"I'm so sorry mate," Dan said. "When we find that guy I'm gonna kick his a-"

"DAN!" Phil and I yelled.

"Sorry. I'll make him very sorry." He said contentedly and surprisingly calmly. "But in the meantime, why don't you stay the night with us? Y/N is staying as well." Phil and I nodded in agreement.

"Sounds good!" PJ said happily.

"And don't worry, there'll be enough Chinese and popcorn for everybody!" Dan shouted as he returned to the kitchen. PJ seemed very happy about the dinner choice.

"Yessss," he whispered, pumping his fist in the air. As he and Phil began talking about his newest film idea, I slipped away to meet Dan in the kitchen.

"Heya Danny boy!" I joked.

"Y/N, don't call me thaaaat!" He whined.

"Sorry, habit!" I laughed. "You need any help in here?"

"No, I think this'll be the last bag," he said, gesturing to another large bag of unpopped popcorn. "But hey, is the Chinese here yet?"

"No. What movie are we going to watch?"

"Shit! I forgot to pick one!" He facepalmed. "Do you want to pick one with me?"

"Sure!"

(Beginning of Panic Attack Scene)

Dan lead me through the apartment and into a room with lots of DVD cupboards. He started looking through them, so I followed suit and started  on the other side. When he apparently got bored with the movies on that side of the room, he came to my side. But I ignored him as my eyes found (favorite movie). I immediately grabbed for it, but my hand came in contact with something else blocking my path. Dan was reaching for the same movie. How stereotypical, I thought. This could be a fanfiction. But instead of him pulling away awkwardly like I would have expected, he froze. Completely. With his hand on the DVD, he stared at our hands touching and didn't move an inch.

"You like this movie as well?" I laughed, trying to escape the awkwardness. He didn't answer verbally, instead nodding slightly and still looking straight ahead. "Dan? You alright?" I noticed he had started to breathe really shallow and fast, and I realized he was having a panic attack.

My eyes widened and I barely remember calling Phil into the room before I saw Dan fall back onto the floor. Phil and PJ were there to catch him, but by then I was so worried that I started crying. Is he okay? Is this my fault? What is he panicking about? A million questions were in my head, but I took slow deep breaths and focused on how Dan was doing. He seemed really dizzy and still hadn't talked. Phil sat him against the wall and rubbed his back, speaking to him in a quiet, low voice to slowly bring him back to reality.

"Dan, you're okay. I'm right here. What happened?"

"I... Uh... I don't want to talk about it..." he said quietly.

(End of Panic Attack Scene)

"If you don't mind, I'm going straight to bed. Enjoy the movie and the popcorn." Dan said sadly.

"Dan, at least stay awake for dinner first!" Phil said. He said it happily, but I know he said it to keep Dan with us and keep an eye on him. I still have no idea what happened! Dan reluctantly nodded, and Phil, PJ and I smiled, relieved. I wiped the tears from my eyes. Maybe the night could go back to normal.

But what had Dan panicked about?
