Michelle's POV

After about three to four hours of driving, Elliot and I finally split away from the highway onto the main roads of Las Vegas.

I look to my right to see that Elliot's asleep. Ha, he sleeps like such a baby. His beard is so carved though! Reminds me of Zayn Malik.

I look at my GPS and see that I'm literally yards away from my location. I can't really describe the weather here in Vegas, as one side was cloudy and the other, really, clear and sunny. I take another left, and another, which is what seemed like forever even when we were right where we needed to be.

I take my last turn, and finally, park my car in front of a really modern apartment. The flowers outside were evenly flourished and the color palette was just remarkable. It was literally aesthetically pleasing.

Because Elliot was fast asleep, I let him be, and stepped out of my Benz.

I walked up the stairs and knocked a few times on the glass door. I waited and waited.

And finally, an unfamiliar face opens the door.

The girl peeked at me with her hazel eyes from the small opening in the door, and then asked, "May I help you?"

It took me a bit to answer her because her eyes were so gorgeous. I'm not attracted to her, but if I was gay, I'd sure be.

"Uh, yeah.. I'm actually looking for Nikita and -"

The girl interrupted me and opened the door. "Are you that bitch who texted my girlfriend last night?!" The small girl shoved me.

I've never tried SO hard to hold in my laughter. I've also never been so confused.

"What?..." I replied in confusion. "YOU DID, DID YOU?" the girl lifted her hand, and I can only assume she was about to slap me.

Until someone behind her grabbed her hand. This time, that someone was definitely familiar.

The other girl glanced at me and shouted. "MICHEEEELEEEEE?" she jumped out the door and hugged me so tight.

It was Nikita. "Wow! It's been years! And I apologize about her." Nikita points at the hazel eyed girl.

"She's my girlfriend. Her name is Luci." Nikita smiled at me, then signaled her girlfriend to approach us.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I had no idea." I could see the sorrow and embarrassment in her eyes. I ended up forgiving her.

"Oh it's no biggie." I sarcastically responded. Luci nodded and went back inside. "Oh, wait here! I'm gonna call Juno!"

I waited outside the door and seconds later I get another hug, this time, from a woman taller than I am. "Chella! I miss you so much baby boo how are you?!" questioned Juno.

"I'm fine! So.. are you one of the girlfriends too?" I chuckled.

Juno playfully punched my shoulder.
"Of course not! I'm single for life!" Juno did the peace signs with her hands. I laughed. "Wow, you've never changed! Don't get me wrong that's a good thing!"

Juno smiled. "Yeah. I don't feel like being loyal at the moment.....never have actually."

She's right. She's never been in a serious relationship before. I've always known she's been hooking up and all, but no long term relationship.

"Anyways, what brought you here?"

I explained to her everything. Who I was with, how I got there, how I got here, how I know where to go, and how one of our friends left us.

It took a while for Nikita and Juno to process things, but they eventually understood what was going on. Immediately, they packed up their clothes and kissed the house goodbye. Well, Nikita kissed her girlfriend goodbye too.

We all got in the car. Juno looked at the passenger side and woke Elliot up. "IT'S OUR NERD!" She exclaimed.

Nikita laughed and took a selfie with the unconscious boy. He then woke up and noticed who was added to the car. "Aye, wassup bitches." Elliot tried to speak, but he was obviously exhausted from the ride.

He reached behind and gave them a lazy hug.

I pulled up from the driveway and added another destination to my GPS - New Mexico.

Hours Later

The bright sky of Vegas transitioned to a dark evening in New Mexico. The roads were paved so well, that the night was quiet. The traffic around us was surprisingly steady.

"Hey, could we stop by DQ? I could use a blizzard right now.", requested Nikita.

"Same as fuck sis. My mouth is so dry." I responded.

Elliot finally woke up and this time, for good.

"Hey, we're heading to DQ. Want something?" I kindly asked. He accepted the gesture and said "yeah ill just get down with y'all."

We finally reached Dairy Queen and parked the car.

We got out the car, and inside the restaurant was nothing. Nothing but the restaurant of course.

We approached the counter. "Hey, can I have one Oreo Cookie Crumble Blizzard?" I asked the cashier. She nodded and the rest of us ordered as well.

I stood at the corner of the counter and suddenly, I get a text message.

"Lights, camera, action." Said the text.

I replied, "What? Who's this?"

Sooner than later, I received a response.

What I saw gave me chills.

"The person who'll be sticking a knife down that bitchy mouth of yours."

My heart dropped at the text message, but I had to pretend that nothing was wrong in the restaurant. I couldn't tell them what I'd received just yet.

We all took our desserts and entered the car again.

I began the conversation. "Hey guys, I got this creepy ass text from someone. Have any idea who it is?" I asked.

"What does it say?" questioned Juno. I showed them the texts.

"Whoa." added Nikita.

"Miss me with that shit!" exclaimed Elliot. The poor boy had anxiety, and other worse things.

"I think it's some prank that Ken is playing on me. He does it from time to time and it's really immature." I tried to avoid the fact that I lied. I didn't want to startle my friends.

I didn't want to make it seem like it would be the worst thing that should happen that night. Well, I didn't know that it was the least idea to worry about.

It was nothing compared to what life had in store for me.
