Elliot's POV

After that mysterious call I had received from that mysterious person, I was left clueless. Even though the "killer" obviously called to give me more information on their identity and reasons, I was questioning things even more.

With that being said, I put my phone down, wiped my ass and left the restroom.

I walked down the bright but empty hallway of the hospital. Something about that place just seemed..eerie. It even seemed familiar, which was odd.

I went back to the room where my gang was located. They were all doing something on their phones.

I passed by each and every one of them and snatched their phones away. I needed to tell them something extremely important, and if they're on their phones they wouldn't even listen to me.

"Give it back!" Juno exclaimed while she ran after me. I scolded her seriously, and she stood silent. "I need to tell you guys something. Something that nobody but us can know. Not even the police."

They all looked at each other confused. "Yeah, it sounds really bizarre, but I'm serious. This entire thing that's been going on? It's all serious."

Michelle sighed nervously. "What's it about?" She said in a quiet voice. "I swear if someone is messing with us again I'll-" I interrupted Ken.

"Right now you can't do anything but listen to me." I wagged my finger. "All these gruesome murders aren't coincidences."

The room was silent. "What? You're saying these murders are connected?" Nikita asked.

"Yes!" I responded. "How do you even know that?", questioned Ken. "Someone called me. I don't know who, but they called me and told me that if I involved the police in any of the upcoming trials, he'll kill us all in one night." I shivered at the thought. I hated the feeling of my friends getting murdered by some freak. I already lost two friends, and one due to some psychotic murderer.

"What the shit." Kit said between breaths. "But..that wouldn't make sense. Why would Luci's death be connected to Chris's?" She raised her brow, and Michelle & Juno agreed. "Who knows? Maybe they wanted to hurt us? Hurt you? Anything is possible. We barely know anything. Is that all they said?" Ken added with a rasp in his voice.

"No." I paused. "They even said they wanted to see me suffer, when I asked what they wanted with us." They looked at each other confused. They were probably thinking the same thing as I was. Like how would murdering Luci get me to suffer? I mean, her death was so tragic. I felt so bad for Kit, my younger second cousin.

And then I came across a thought. "What if they killed Luci....so I could watch you all suffer-"

Michelle interrupted me. "One by one."

"And, and so watching my younger cousin suffer, would cause me to suffer?"

The silence in the room intimidated me. "That makes it clear now. But for now, we shouldn't consume anymore that's not on our plates." Juno said with a mildly concerned voice.

The conversation ended and I handed them back their phones.

Eventually, we were discharged from the hospital and put somewhere safe for now, which was an apartment close by. The police are going to investigate some things at the motel and hopefully, they figure something out.

Michelle's car was part of the investigation, so we had to take a bus to our apartment.

For the time being in the bus, I put on my earphones and shut the world out.

15 Minutes Later

We got down the bus and walked toward our apartment. We were given nothing to salvage off. No clothes but the given ones from the hospital because our real ones were all in the car, no money in our pockets. Only food that was given to us from some random donation from the hospital. It was in like a bag, and it was all canned food, like Vienna sausages and spaghetti.

"This is it." sighed Nikita. We all haven't slept for days. It was so stressful and everything has just been happening too fast. But we managed to continue living and cope with the current conditions.

Ken unlocked the apartment and we stepped inside. It smelled fresh and comfortable.

It was a two story apartment with a very cozy surrounding. The first thing I did was open a can of spaghetti, then I plopped onto the couch to eat. God this was definitely a luxurious feeling.

And then the doorbell rang.

Michelle went to the eye hole at the door and peeked outside. It seemed weird because she looked back at me all confused, as if the person at the door was unfamiliar.

"Check this out." Michelle called us over. I peeked in. It was some girl that I didn't recognize. She had olive skin and long brown hair. Her eyeliner was on point though!

I made Juno peek into the eye hole.
"That's Olivia! Olivia Hemsworth!" The name instantly clicked to my head. Olivia is Chris's friend and also his ex. She was probably here to ask about the funeral which we have yet to discuss.

We opened the door and greeted her with a warm hug. She said sorry about what had happened. I appreciated the condolences she has offered for our dear friend.

"I'm sorry how only now I came back. I just heard about his death." Olivia said to us. Olivia and Chris were really close, however her and Ken did not have a good history.

Speaking of...

Ken was walking down the stairs and the instant he saw Olivia? He was angered.

"WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?!" he pointed as he shouted at her. "Hey, Ken, no need to shout." Michelle calmed him down. "Not now Ken. She's here for a reason." Juno shook her head. "You're lucky it's a good one." Ken snared at Olivia, who stood at the doorway, clueless.

Ken walked back up the stairs and slammed a door to one of the rooms. "Please excuse him. Your history with him wasn't so...stable."

"Yeah, I know that. He just shouldn't be so immature about it at such a time like this." Olivia sighed.

What Olivia did to Ken was embarrassing, yes, and we did laugh at him about it yes. But it's high school, he should've gotten over it by now. That didn't give us the right to shit on his face though. Olivia embarrassed him in high school by asking him to homecoming and cutting a hole in his pants. He was using a thong. I know, sounds amazing.
