Ten - Condolences

Michelle's POV

The instant Ken was arrested, we left the apartment. It's almost as if the cops didn't give a shit about what Nikita had to say, because she didn't want to press charges. She didn't even want him arrested. I was surprised she didn't! He basically raped her. Nobody should get away with rape. I'm sorry for saying this. Ken is my friend, but he really shouldn't have done that.

We were on a long drive to Ashboro. Everything was just so crazy today! It's unreal. All these murders, Ken got arrested AND we are all supposed to go to Adolf's funeral tomorrow. Too bad one of us was in Ashboro jail until Nikita speaks to the deputy. I don't know if the deputy is the same, I highly doubt it.

Back when I was still in high school, the deputy was Nikita's older brother. I'm sure that if he still is deputy, or worse...sheriff? He'd torture Ken without committing a crime.

Highway 777

We finally reached the state, and eventually....Ashboro.  The place where our parents had birthed us. They were worried sick and they wanted us home as soon as possible. After all the calls we've gotten, they made it clear that they wanted us to stay. They made it clear that it was safer if we were closer to our origins. What is really scarring me is that..last time the killer called Elliot at the hospital, it really seemed as if the killer knew us indefinitely to the core and wanted us back here to just kill us off good. Conspiracy.

We were all silent in the car that had brought us here. We were down to four of us. One murdered...and one in jail I think. I don't know. Chances are high that Ken is in a jail cell until Kit confronts the police.

The town of Ashboro was located in Northeastern California. It was a suburban town, not too shabby. It was populated by diversity, a town of melting and rising cultures.

But little do outsiders know about the details.

Ashboro, is known for its infamous murders, called "Death Infinity" and all those murders were conducted by one person and one person only....Dennis Faye. Dennis was an innocent kid, just like us, except we were a lot less innocent than he was.
For years, poor guy had to endure merciless bullies and suffer with his odd condition, Porphyria. It made his face all sensitive to the sun, and it also gave him some weird mental disorders, like schizophrenia and paranoia. One night, Dennis just snapped, and killed five out of six of his close friends. I am sure it wasn't his intent nor was it cold blooded. Rumor has it that he impregnated the last survivor girl before he was shot and killed.. That girl gave birth to twins. Legend has it that one of the twins will carry on the disorder and continue the murders for Dennis. But it's whatever. It's all a legend...hopefully.

I don't know if any of that connects to our murders, but I highly doubt it. Highly.

We all decided to stop by Elliot's mom's house and dropped him there. Eventually we reunited with our family, one by one.

Elliot's POV

I was standing in front of the doorsteps for a few minutes. I wasn't ready to see mom cry for what I've been going through. I told her in advanced that it was all going to be okay once I come back. I opened the door.

The house was the same as the time I left here. It's been six years.

I saw a teenaged girl sitting on the couch, using her phone. She turned her head and I dropped my bags in shock.

Leigh.
My little sister. She's so grown up.

She jumped up and hugged me.

"Elli!!!!!!!!" I've missed my little sister so much.
