The Greatest Weakness

Blaze's POV

What have I done? I've lost her. She's gone.

D: it's fine, I'm gonna be alright

Crap I forgot she can here my thoughts.

D: I can still hear you.

Hmmmf

After she had told me to go back to the castle I had figured that she had lost hope in being saved. But I knew, that she wouldn't be alright. I can feel when she is hurt, physically and mentally. I have no idea what she is doing, but I'm glad she did it. When I arrived at the castle I saw that no one was there.

B: Destiny, where are your parents?

D: I have no idea, but I have some worse problems... Aahhhhhh!

I fell to the floor in pain realizing that she had been hurt.

B: Destiny! Are you ok!

No answer.. What had he done to her? And where were her parents? I had just realized that i had lost. I had lost the fight. She was gone. He won. And I lost.

Destiny's POV

"Slate! Stop it! Haven't you hurt me enough!" I said crying. "What the hell do you even want!" I yelled in his face while he chained my hands together and dragged my across the floor until he got to the room he was looking for.

"The more you bitch, the tighter I make the chains." He said looking where he was going. The chains had gotten a little tighter and I struggled to break free. "Hmmf." I groaned. When we arrived at the room he pushed me in and closed the irregularly large metal door.

I had noticed that the whole room was made of metal. Cameras were placed in all the corners of the room and speakers on the ceiling. The chains around my hands loosened and then I broke free of them.

I went over and banged on the door."let me out of here Slate!" I yelled "it's just a little test princess! Calm down!" I heard his voice beaming through the speakers. I was mad. My eyes turned red and a tried to use flames but nothing.

My eyes never changed back. But no flames came either. "W-what did you do to me?" I said confused. "I was right! It is your eyes!" He said excitedly. I slowly covered my face and said. "What do you mean, my eyes?" I said "they change colors! To match your emotions!"

"No! My eyes are always the same color! And they always will be!" I lied. I knew the truth was out. But for how long? How long did he know? "I know you are lying! So if you want to be safe, then I suggest you fess up!" He said agitated.

"Fine, you are right. My eyes change to my emotions." "Thank you" he said surprisingly calm. Then the doors opened and I saw 2 men. One with some rope. And the other with a bracelet, I think.

I started to back up until they started to walk towards me. I felt the wall behind me and realized I was cornered. The one with the rope came up to me and tied me up from my waist to knees. The picked me up like a baby.

The other tried to stick on the bracelet while I struggled. When he finally got it on the other guy untied me and set me down. As soon as he set me down I shoved him, then glared at his partner while touching the bracelet. He glared back then began to push me towards my room.

When we reach my room he gave me one last push then closed the door with a bang. I heard the door lock and realized that I still had the bracelet on. I tried to pull It off but it was no use. Metal? No not metal. It was the one thing that kept me from using my powers... Quartz stone.

He knew about my weakness. And he is using it against me. I cannot use any of the elements. And the worst part is, i cannot communicate with Blaze. I went over to the mirror I had in my room and looked at my reflection. I then cut myself on something sharp.

I fell to the ground and saw my arm was cut deep. It was bleeding bad. And I started to feel faint. I tried to stay awake for as long as I could but it was no use. I fainted. The last thing I remember was Slate rushing in to check on me.

Slate's POV

"What the hell? She's bleeding! Someone go get a healer!" I yelled. What the heck did she do? Was she really trying to die? I was never actually gonna hurt her. And from all the times I did, I really felt bad.

I think I'm falling in love with her. And this time I'm not gonna let her leave without telling her that. I picked her up and laid her in a pool of water. Then about 5 healers came in and tried to heal her. But she didn't wake up till the next day...

The bracelet is not like something you would wear to a dance or something like that, it's like more of a device. I know, I'm weird. ;-)
