So Close, But so Far

Thunders POV

"So, babe. Do you want to go back to the castle and wait for Destiny and Blaze? Or go on a adventure?" I asked my girlfriend. "Hmmm, that's a very hard question!" She said sarcastically. "Are you crazy?! Of course I want to go on adventure!" She yells. "Ok then. Let's go find Blaze!" I opened up my cell phone and dialed in Blaze's number.

BEEP BEEP.

RIIIIINNNNGGG!!

After a few minutes of the phone ringing it went to a voice mail. "I'm sorry. But the person you are trying to reach is currently unavailable. Please leave a message after the beep." The phone said in a robotic voice. BEEP! "Umm hey where the heck are you? I found Marina! Uhh can we meet up somewhere? Just call me back bye." I spoke into the phone.

"No answer?" "Nope." "Let's go this way." She said pointing east. She grabbed my hand and started running and laughing. We ran for a while until we decided to stop and rest. We camped out in the forest and told each other about the crazy adventure we each had.

Blaze's POV

I saw my phone ringing outside of the cage and tried to grab it. The cage was made of water, typical. If I would touch it, my powers would be weakened and he would be able to do his worst. Slate stayed here with me after reviving me, while Airon went after Destiny.

How could I have been so stupid! Then the door slammed opened revealing an injured Destiny holding her sides in pain. She had glass in her arms and legs, and cuts on her face. She fell to the ground and closed her eyes.

"Destiny!" Slate yelled. "STAY AWAY FROM HER BITCH!" I yelled. He looked back at me and glared. He picked her up and laid her on a table. "What happened to you? Where's Airon? How'd you get here?" "Car... Accident...." She said opening her eyes for a second.

She closed her eyes and I then opened them as they turned a light blue. She picked up her hand and waved it towards the cage. The water swirled and moved away and into a puddle. slate slapped her hand away, hoping the cage would still be there.

"Shitshitshitshit!" He cursed under his breath. He pushed her off the table, and she landed with a thud. "Uggggh" she groaned. I glared at Slate and lunged with a fireball ready in hand. I threw it at him and he fell over with scorch marks on his shirt.

I pushed him against the wall and said "its sad to think that you won't live to see tomorrow, wait... no it's not." I said as I lit another fireball and pushed it into his chest. He soon turned to ashes and dust. And blew away at even the slightest breeze.

I ran over to Destiny and shrugged. "How did you get here?" I asked quietly. "I'm the element princess, stronger than 20 earth warriors combined." She said proudly. I picked her up bridle style and carried her out the door. "Should I take you to a hospital?" I asked.

"No, I just take me back to the castle and use the stone. It's the best thing we've got. When a hospital will make me sit in a bed, doing nothing. my powers are weakening by the minute, and so is my blood line so we better make it fast." She proclaimed.

"Why don't i just heal you here?" "Because it's out of power, it's not like you can go using it willy nilly all the time! We've got to take it to the castle so it can... 'recharge' "

"umm ok" I said confused. I grabbed my phone and called Thunder. BEEP BEEP BEEP... RINNNG! "Hello?" I heard a voice at the other end. "Blaze? Is that you? Where the hell are you? I've called you like 50 times!"

"I kinda had some complications..." I said while looking down a Destiny and she grinned weakly. "Umm head back to the castle. I meet you there in the morning." "ok be safe." "Sure thing." I replied before hanging up. I stared down at Destiny before saying.

"What am I going to do with you?" "Hmmm let me think about that. maybe putting me down would be a nice start." She said. "Are you sure your fine to walk?" "I not helpless! Just injured." She corrected me.

We walked as the setting sun turned to darkness and the sky filled with stars.
So, Slates dead... But what about Airon? Is he dead? She said they were in a car accident.... Hmmmmm...

Sorry the chapter is so short, and kind of a cliffhanger. It's like 12 o' clock at night and my brain isn't writing as well. I will update soon, just be patient. And as you can see/read... Both the Steel brothers are dead... YAY! Hope you enjoyed it. 😉
