Chapter 20
Run to you

Thunder's POV

After Blaze left I had already decided where to look for Marina. I had no idea where there hideout was, but all I knew was that they left East when they took her.

So I packed up some stuff to help on the journey. Some food, extra clothes, first aid kit, and my phone and wallet. I put it all in a backpack and then went on my way.

I walked to a nearby bar and decided to see if anyone there had any idea where there hideout was. It's worth a try. So I walked in and and sat down at one of the seats. "Hey have you heard about the captive escaping a couple days ago?" One of the guys at the bar said. "Yeah it was kinda sad though, she threw some coffee that was really really old into my mouth and I started puking and coughing.

But she was hot. I could never date a liquider though." Another said. Are they talking about Marina? I got up from my seat and went over to the 2 guys. I pick the last guy that spoke up by the shirt and said. "Where is she?!" "who the hell are you talking about?!" You know who I'm talking about! Where is the liquider?!"

"Umm I don't know! She ran off about 2 days ago!" I dropped him down and then left the bar. So she escaped too, how convenient. I walked along the grass line thinking about where to find my girlfriend. I stopped and looked around, there was a path going into a forest. I decided to take the path and see where it takes me.

*5 days later *

I've been walking for 5 days straight on the path, I would camp out on it and just travel to see were it was headed, but had seen no end to it. But after walking a few more steps I saw light. I ran towards it and saw a beautiful lake.

However, there was a girl and a sea creature battling. I drew my sword and it immediately had electricity flowing all around it. I ran towards the monster but the girl yelled over to me making me stop. "No, I can handle this." After that was said, the monster pushed her down into the water.

I dropped my sword and dove into the water. As I swam down to there level, I realized that the monster had her curled into is long scaly tail. She tried to get out but it was to strong.

But she then used her powers and pushed the monster away. Then she went over to it and did the only thing that could kill a sea creature. Tear it's eyes out. She swam up to the surface with a big dome of water surrounding her.

She healed faster then I expected. The dome dropped and she swam back under the water, and I did the same. I swam down to her and picked her up and carried her to the grass.

I laid her down softly. Her hair was all in her face and I couldn't see any facial features. "You know, you didn't have to do that. I can breath under water. I'm a liquider. I was just resting." She said while removing part of her hair from her face.

"Are you the runaway liquider from the shifters?" I asked. "Yeah why?" She answered while removing the rest of we hair from her face. Both of us were surprised to see each other's faces. "I knew I'd find you." I said while staring into my girlfriends eyes. "I knew you would too."
