24 Hour Freedom

Destiny's POV

"Of course, I get another boyfriend, and then I lose him. I will never date again." I said while crying against my knees. I sat on a park bench thinking, crying, and some more thinking.

I managed to finally get the bracelet off my wrist, after using a stick, a grill, and some force.it fell to the ground and I kicked as hard as I could. I made a ball of flames, liking that my powers were back.

It was dark out by the time I got somewhere far away. I tried to shove the thought of Blaze far back in my head, and think about something else.

I actually did think about something else, why did I read Slates mind? And how did I communicate with Blaze a whiles back? What was happening to me? I, am the element princess, not some psychic weirdo! And a matter of fact their is no Psychics around here! Not where i come from!

I got up and walked out of the park, miserably unhappy because of all the mysterious thoughts and actions. As I walked out of the park I noticed a strange man walking towards me. I squinted to see who it was but all I saw was a shadowy outline of a person.

It started running, faster, and faster, until he was almost upon me. I decided to run as fast as I could, even though I had no idea who it was, it could be a granny for all I care! But all I knew was that I was not getting caught, AGAIN.

I looked back and saw the person again. I couldn't catch any facial features since it was dark out, so I had no idea who exactly was chasing me. "Ha...ha...ha" I gasped for air while I ran from the unknown person.

"You can run as long as you want, but you know I'll always catch you." It announced. It sounded like a guy, and that voice! I know it from somewhere, but where? I ran behind a large car and hid, with him close behind.

Does he know where I am? Then I saw eyes under the car and tried to move my feet so he wouldn't see them. He then walked away. Phew! He's gone. I sat down and relaxed for just a second. But he rounded the corner of the car and grabbed my arm.

"Gotcha. See I told you I'd always catch you." He said evilly. "Dammit." I said. "Oh don't be such a downer! You'll get over it, sooner or later." He said. I decided that I was not going to let myself get captured again, so I kicked him where the sun don't shine.

He whined in pain, but didn't let go. Instead he tightened his grip. Ouch, steel balls ya got there? Well since that didn't work, I thought of another sinister plan, that just might work even better.

I knew he was just about to pull me in, but that was all just a big part of my plan, so instead I pulled him in and kissed him. Entwined my fingers through his hair, acting to be "in on the moment" but instead I lit his hair on fire.

I pushed him away as he tried to douse the flames. With my eyes flaming red I said to him, "that was for chasing me." I said. "You little bitch!" He yelled at me. He yanked off his mask that hid his face and looked straight into my eyes.

"Airon?" I said completely confused. "Yeah it's me you little--" "i thought you were dead." I said cutting him off while he finished extinguishing the flames."Blaze killed you, I saw it happen!"

"No I didn't die, I just so happen to have a little something of yours that I might have stole." He took a stone out if his pocket and held it up to me. "You took my destiny stone!? How? I left with it I knew I did!" I said while checking my pockets.

"Slate took it while he had you in his arms, he healed me and then I came to find you." I took it back and carefully placed it in my pocket. "What are you doing here anyway? And how did you get here so fast?" I asked.

"Princess, I'm an air carrier, I can practically fly. But I came to get you." "And what gave you the idea that I'm just going to come with you?" I questioned. "Well, we have your boyfriend, so you can come with is easy, which might keep him alive, or hard, which I give no doubts that he will not get hurt. But we healed him first, so he's not dead.

Oh god what should I do? Save the ones that I protect. Or save the one that protects me. "I will come on one condition." "Yes anything" he responded. "None of my people should get hurt, including Blaze."

"Hard to say yes to that deal princess, but if it means having the power in my hands, then it's a deal." He accepted the deal, but looked a little disappointed. "What could you possibly want now!?" I asked.

"I was hoping that you would put up more of a fight, and I would have to carry you over my shoulder, and then Tie you up in my van..." he replied stalkishly. "Seriously? You get more and more stalkish every time I'm near you. You can carry me but don't even think about tying me up in your van. I'm sitting in the passengers seat." "Good enough for me!" He said happily.

he picked me up and put me over his shoulder. Then walked me back to a random car. "Ok so know your going to steal a car?!" "Yeah. So what?" "Whatever." He hot wired the car, and it started. He placed me in the passengers seat.

He hopped in the drivers seat and pushed on the gas peddle. He drove right into the car in front of him. "Whoops" he said. Then finally began driving, ON THE ROAD. After a few hours of being in the silent car, he broke the silence.

"Destiny are you feeling alright?" "Yeah why wouldn't I be." I lied, I actually was nervous about being kidnapped again. And I had just realized that just about everything that happened in my dream, just happened right now. So in these last couple months, i read minds, foretold the future, and communicated through mind waves. Weird.

"Destiny, I know your lying, just tell me already." He told me. "Just stay out of it ok!" "No tell me! I deserve to know, it's my business, because you are technically my property." "I am no ones property, am and will never be anyone's property. Especially, yours!" I yelled in his face. He turned towards me and slapped me across the face. I put my hands over my cheek to comfort the pain that I was now feeling.

"Now listen here! You are a kidnapped princess, going to get her powers drained, and used. You. Are. My. Prisoner. So just shut up, and deal with it!" He yelled even louder in MY face. Looked out the window and realized we were swerving across the road. i looked back and saw that he was still staring at me.

"Airon! LOOK WHERE YOUR DRIVING! we're driving off road!" I screamed as we drove down a hill and crashed into a tree. CRASH!! "AIRON!!" I screamed. "AIRON! Please wake up!!" He didn't answer, he already blacked out. "HELP!!" I screamed.

I suddenly felt faint. Everything's broken, I have glass in my arms, and legs, and my forehead is slit open. Perfect! my 24 hours of freedom, has just turned into 5 seconds of pain.
