Two weeks since Hanna died.
He finally went out of his room. He needed to drink water and his mom got an idea of not sending him food and water to force him to come out his room.
He noticed his parents watching the night news on TV. Their backs are on him so they didn’t see him.
Josh immediately got his food stash and big bottle of water but something held him back.
He stared at the TV as the reporter showed Hanna’s photo.
“…The internet is still abuzz with the tragic story of the star-crossed lovers,”
It followed screen shots of tweets and photos of both of them. One showed Hanna with flowers in her hair as she was smiling candidly at the camera and Josh photo was taken during one of the practice games they had, he was laughing at something that he couldn’t remember anymore.
He couldn’t remember being that happy anymore.
