KYLE ROSE

I was shocked. No one had eyes like that! How could Alyssa have mirror images of my eyes? I couldn't focus on anything in English class and I spent the entire class worrying and trying to figure out how to avoid Alyssa. It was a lot harder than you would think. She shared multiple classes with me: English, Chorus, Lunch and Math. English was almost over, so I would just go straight to PE in the other building. I would "accidentally" get to chorus late and then eat lunch outside. I wouldn't see her until math and there was no excuse for being late. My science class was next door! I would have to wing it.

. . .

ALYSSA KRITHNER

I blinked several times. It had to be my eyes deceiving me. There was no way...  I kept walking towards our seats though. As soon as we sat down I asked Maia, "Who is that girl?"
"Which one?" Maia answered nonchalantly.
"The one in the overly baggy T-shirt and old jeans with the terrible hair," I said, my patience waning.
"Oh," Maia said, surveying the room. Her eyes fell upon mystery girl. "Yikes!" She commented. "Kyle E. Rose. Very shy, quiet and UNpopular. Not someone you'd want to think about. Hashtag nightmares!" Maia scoffed. I rolled my eyes. Not only was Maia obsessed with hashtags, she could identify anyone on the school.
"What's her middle name?" I asked.
"Same as yours. Elizabeth."
"No way," I muttered. To Chloe and Maia I said, "I need to talk to her, that Kyle girl. After class."
