CHAPTER 12

"Gon, don't forget to bring enough underwear. Make sure to change it to a new one at least twice a day. Here, you left one in the basket at the laundry room." Mito-san pass him his white underwear and he took it quickly and hide it in his beg. "Mito-san stop treating me like a small kid", Gon's face blushes. Killua laugh at him. He knocked Killua's ribs with his elbow.

"Hey that's hurt!" Gon chuckles. Killua chuckles too. Gon stop and look at him. "Hey Killua", Killua stop packing up his stuff in the bag and change his focus to Gon.

"I am happy to be able to travel with you again, Killua." Killua's close his mouth with his palm in order to hide his reddening cheek. He look away, embarrassed enough to hear such confession. Sometimes he can't imagine how he can survived all of those sudden confessions. "Baka, Gon! Stop saying something stupid", Killua is still hiding his head under his palm. Gon smile and continue packing up his stuff. They'll be leaving Whale Island in 4 hours. They need to make sure that they have all of the things needed throughout the journey.

"So how long your journey going to be this time?" Mito-san ask them. She's currently sitting at the dining table watching them packing. Gon look at Killua. He is not sure himself. He don't even discuss it with Killua yet. He straightly agreed with Killua once that boy suggest them to go out for another journey. He need to admit that he couldn't resist the purpose of their journey this time. Their mission is to find the book that can help him to get his nen back. Although it might be just a myth and they don't know whether the book really exist or not but he is just too eager to look for it. He really need his nen back. He don't really mind about losing his power before but since he met Killua again, he's somehow longing for his power back. Looking at Killua who stays sharp and build up makes him feel so weak. He used to be in the same level before he came up with his selfish decision about a year ago.

"It's probably not going to be so long this time, Mito-san since that we already know the destination that we're heading to", Gon's deep thought suddenly snap out by Killua's voice. "Don't worry, Mito-san I'll make sure Gon will come back to Whale Island in good condition once our mission is done.

"Mission? What are you guys up to his time?" Gon almost open up his mouth to tell about the real story but Killua quickly covers Gon's mouth with his palm and laugh nervously.

"Hahaha it is boy's thing, Mito-san." Mito-san look at them suspiciously but then release a long sigh. "I know you guys won't tell me but make sure you don't do something funny out there", Mito-san warned them. She stand up and turn towards the kitchen.

"But Killua. There is one thing I need you to know. Although I might be worry much about Gon and I want him to come back here safely, but I need you to know this one fact." Mito-san stop for a while before she continue her words. "Please make sure you come back here safely too. I'll be waiting. Can you promise me that?"

Killua look down at his back pack. His tears are almost fall down but he makes sure to hide it well with his long bangs.

"I promise, Mito-san" he answered her and Mito-san smiles widely. Satisfied with the promised made between her and Killua. She then leave them both there to continue with the packing.

Gon look at Killua who is currently wiping up his tears with the back of his hand. Deep inside Gon know why Killua feel so touched with the promise made between him and Mito-san. Quietly he promised something to himself too.

Killua, I will make sure you will not get hurt this time. Never again.
