Chapter 18

"Book of Nen. Sorry but I never heard of that all my life." Said the old guy at the antic shop. Killua sighed. His investigation isn't goes well. It's been almost 10 people he's been asking but none of them have heard of that book.

"Damn! All people in this town don't really care about what happening outside of their life. No wonder that I cannot find any hunters here." Killua enter into one of the café nearby in order get a cup of hot chocolate. He's already freezing. He paid for his hot chocolate and took it to the table beside of the window.

"I wonder how Gon's investigation right now is. I bet he can't get anything as well. Haaaaah... I never thought that it will be this tough", he sighed and put his head on the table, facing to the outside. Suddenly his eyes caught something interesting in front of him. He raise his head back.

"Karatunya City Archive Gallery. Why I never see that before? This might be helpful", he quickly finish up his hot chocolate and leaving the café. He walk straight to the gallery. From in front of the door he can see that there's not much of people inside. They are only one security and two young ladies working at the counter. He entered the gallery and walk around for little while.

"No one's here. Just as I thought from this town", he walk further to the book shelves area. He try to check if there's any myth section there but there is nothing. He walk further at the back. He can see that the two ladies from the counter whispering at each other and keep staring at his side.

"Probably they're not use to have visitors here", Killua just ignored them and keep on searching. While he's searching suddenly he saw one room with a signage 'RESTRICTED CORNER'. The room is locked and he see that the padlock is kind of rusted. It shows that no one enters that room for quite some time.

"I can feel that I can get something from this room. There must be a reason why this room's locked." Killua walk back to the center of the gallery. Looking for those ladies at the counter. They probably have the access key to the room. When he's out from the book shelves area, he saw a girl with a short black hair and a pair of emerald eyes sitting at one of the table right at the center of the gallery. The girl is starring right at him but then quickly change her sight back to the book that she's holding. Killua just ignoring her since he's not in mood of making new friend at the moment. Their mission is what important now.

He walk to the counter. The two ladies look at him suspiciously as he open up his voice to ask a question that they never expect to hear.

"Do you know how can I enter into the restricted room?"

Both of the ladies looking at each other. Too surprise to hear that question. No one in Karatunya City ever have interest to enter into the room. In fact they're not even interested to come to this gallery. One of the lady step forward and talk to Killua.

"I'm sorry but we cannot allowed anyone to enter the room". She try to explain it to Killua.

"If you can't allow anyone to enter the room, but why did you put a signage there? There must be a rule that need to be full filed if I want to enter the room isn't it?" Both of the ladies just quiet. They don't know how to answer the question.

"You can enter the room with one condition", an old man suddenly appeared from his back. He don't even realize that the person was at his back all this while. Killua started to frown.

"This old man isn't ordinary. I can't sense him at all from the start", Killua feel a bit uneased.

"Hello young boy, my name is Gori. I am the owner of this gallery." He give his hand to Killua. Killua accept it and shake hand with the old man. "It's pretty rare for a young boy like you to spend time in this kind of place. I feel honored to meet you here." Killua scratch his head out of embarrassment. Then he realized that he don't have time to be embarrassed now. He gaze at the old man.

"So who are you really are, old man? I don't think you're just the owner of this gallery. You're look much more than that to me", Gori look at himself and laugh.

"I'm just an ordinary old man. Nothing more than that. But I can guarantee to all people inside here that you're not an ordinary boy too". He laugh again.

"Okay let's stop wasting time, old man. What should I do in order to enter the room?" he ask him with a stern voice. He don't want this man to waste his time any longer.

"Well I am not intended to, boy", he look at Killua sharply and his tone of voice changed. He release a little bit of his aura in front of Killua. Killua started to be on guard. Although the aura released isn't so strong but he still need to use his Ten in order to stay still. He still starring at Killua sharply.

"Show me your Hatsu"
