We reached the Grill, and I only found that there were only 3 cars. Damon's, Tyler's, and Matt's. Which wasn't a shocker it is about 11:00 at night. Not to mention it's a school night. I'm sorta glad I skipped 2 grades. I've been out of school for 1 year and a half now. Yay me ( :D)!!! Antywho. We walked in to the run down bar. We were hit with the smell of cooked meat, and beer from the day previous. It smelled like home. Not the type of home that you have doubts about. No. The kind that welcomes you with open arms, and you know that it's the one place you can come back to when you have no where to go. My house use to be like this. Until the day of the accident. My parents...well my adoptive parents...were always so calm, and welcoming to everyone. Except the very rare vampire that graced us with there presence. I felt like they would always be there for me. And they still are, even if they aren't here in person. I have all the things they taught me.

I felt like I was being looked at, so I turned aruond. No one was there, so I left it at that for now. In the time I was thinking we had reached the bar, and sat down. Matt walked over, and smiled at me. "Hey, Matty. Can I?" I asked. I put a silly puppy dog face, and bat my lashes like a school girl in a chick-flick. He laughed a little, and nodded while grabbing shot glasses from the cupboard. "Yay! Thank you Matty!" I said. "Yeah, no problem Nikki." he said while pooring about 6 shots for me. I just remembered Damon was next to me when he nudged me. "Yeah?" I asked, not really paying any attention to anything, but the awesome liquid in the tiny shots. "Are you going to tell me what you needed to look into, or am I just going to have to bug you till you tell me?" he said softly. I turned to him a bit, and looked at his face. "Umm...no. If I wasn't going to tell you when Stefan was in the room, what makes you think I'll tell you now?" I asked. He seemed to think for a second and replied with a curt "touche".

My shots were lined up, and I guzzled three in almost 2.5 seconds. Damon's eyes widened when he realized that I was drinking. I laughed, and drank the other three. It burned on the way down, but that's the way I like it. I've never had any lime, or salt with tequila. It was never very soothing. If your going to drink, you should do it without an aid with it. It's my opinion. I don't really care if you do, or not. It's your choice. Damon Stood up, and grabbed my hand. I let him drag me to the back door of the Grill, and outside. He stoped, and moved me against the wall. "Aren't you strange?" I said sarcasticly, more to myself then him. He nodded, and seemed to be reasuring himself. He leanded in, and his unneeded breathing was quicker than normal. 'Is he nervous?' I thought. He leaned closer, and our forheads were touching.

His lips were almost touching mine, but he looked hesitant. "Oh my goodness, will you hurry up?" I asked, and grabbed his head, and closed the gap. I was always really into Damon. I just didn't want to have to deal with Elena and Stefan getting married. She might choose to be a vampire after she figures out he isn't getting any older, and he tells her. Then we would have to split up, and I would die if that happened. I know Stefan loves Elena and vise versa, so I was trying to not fall any more than I already had. Thats going to be impossible now. Elena is in love with a vampire, and so am I.
