As the ground below me began to crack and snap, I tried to run out of the room but it was to late. The ground broke and I feel with it, down into the darkness below.
I hit the floor with a thud. Thankfully, and luckily a mattress cushioned my fall. Well almost. I looked up and it seemed I fell a good three stories. I called upwards the hole In the ceiling, "HELP! IVE FELL THROUGH A HOLE!", I yelled and screamed. I was all alone, yet again.
My first thought was to get back to the Sixth floor. After a second I got an idea. My idea was to check the floors below, since I was already on the third floor.
I stood up, my body aching from the fall. I looked to my right to see a cruch on the floor. I picked it up as well as my book bag. I put my water and rod in it. I looked around for my flashlight and I saw it was busted. The battery fell out and was gone, but still worked. So I put it in my bag and set off. It took forever for me to reach the stairs walking with a sprained leg. When I got to the steps of the stairwell I could see a major challenge for me.
It was hard for me to get down the stairs with my leg and cruch but I made it. The second floor was pitch black, moonlight only making it three feet inwards from the Windows. "Hello?! Is anyone there?!" I yelled.
The only noise that came from the hospital was small snaps of falling concrete and crickets. The ambiance grew to plain old horror half way down the hallway. I past by a room, and I squinted at what the sign said It was. "Janitorial Closest: Employees only".
I walked in to the light room. Only one light bulb remained off. "Wonder what the electric bill is in this place?" I joked. I looked through s small box and found three batteries. Quickly as I could, I shoved one into the back of the light and flicked it on.
The light illuminated the hallway a hundred times better than before. Graffiti was scattered across all the walls. I began my slow journey to find Richard. As I was walking, I heard something. Something out of the ordinary to the sounds here.
