Hello Bunny Clan!

Welcome to Book 2 of the Seductive Danger series! If you have NOT read "Seduced by Danger" then please read that first so as to avoid confusion.

Again this book will be MATURE and I have marked it as such as well as the fact that this is a book that will portray homosexual themes. Guy on Guy. Male on Male. Dude kissing Dude. .........Dude DOING dude.

So if you don't like it or it's not your thing, then honey you've chosen the wrong book and you should abort the mission ASAP because I'm not going to care if you get offended or "Emotionally scarred" because you read something gay. You clicked it, you read it.

Fooooooor those of you that DO like reading these kinds of books then by all means continue on!

Thank you again and welcome to the Bunny Clan

Ciao~*

They say that when you find your path in life, you feel complete. But that's just pretty lies and utter bullshit.

I sat with my feet propped up on my desk as I glared at my new partner. I had been through five so far but four of them had transferred since they couldn't handle my attitude or humor. It was fine by me though, I didn't want a new partner I was happy with Dominic. I was beyond pissed despite it having happened six months ago. Six months without a single word to offer any explanation or even see how I was doing. Of course, I had tried to call him but kept being sent to voicemail and had even gone ask far as trying to ambush him at his apartment only to find out the little weasel had moved. Time really doesn't help lessen the anger, it just makes it ten times worse.

My new partner, a thirty-nine year old man named Emilio Garcia, seemed like he was going to be sticking around for awhile since I hadn't been able to run him off in the first two weeks like the others.

"Garcia, Mountains," our new Chief, Patrick Dixon, called from his office.

Irritated, I stood while grumbling to myself. "It's Montes."

Garcia brushed past me into the office but when he heard me call him a less than professional name, he turned and winked at me causing my blood to boil. I forced myself to calm down and entered the office as well, closing the door behind me. Chief Dixon didn't even bother to spare me a glance as he had already began talking with Garcia.

"This is all the information we have right now," he said handing over a folder as I approached the desk. "The officers on scene will be able to provide more information when you arrive."

He finally glanced over at me and gave me a tiny nod. "Moped," he greeted.

"It's Montes," I ground out before quickly adding, "sir."

I watched him roll his eyes before dismissing an amused looking Garcia and I. Not needing any further directions, I walked out to my desk and snatched up the keys only to have them taken away from me. I spun around and shot daggers at Garcia who simply stood there with his ever present lazy grin while holding the keys, practically dangling them in my face.

"What's a matter?" He teased. "You don't like my driving?"

I snatched the keys back from him and walked past him. He caught up to me easily and I hated the fact that he was able to rile me up so quickly, it made me feel like a child. I knew part of the reason was that I didn't have closure from the whole Dominic thing and the other part was that I was sleep deprived.

"So?" Garcia asked as we got into the car. "Do you not like me?"

"Why would you ask?" I grumbled, pulling away from the station.

"Well you've been glaring at me for the past month."

I rolled my eyes and chose to ignore him. I wasn't in the mood to entertain an almost forty year old man who acted like he was ten. I felt something poke my face and swatted it away, hitting his hand. When we reached a red light I turned to scowl at him.

"What is your problem?" I demanded.

Garcia seemed perplexed but understanding suddenly dawned on him as he burst into laughter. I scoffed at his strange behavior and continued driving to our assigned scene.

*******

Twenty minutes later I was approaching yellow police tape that was guarded by an officer. He took one look at me and nodded, allowing me to duck underneath. I was halfway to the group of officers when I heard Garcia complaining and looked back to see him stopped at the tape. I rolled my eyes toward the sky and took a deep breath before turning back for him.

"He's with me Ben," I called when I was within earshot. The officer turned to look at me with a questioning look but I just shook my head as a way to tell him not to ask. Garcia ducked underneath the tape hurriedly while giving the officer a dirty look. I gave Ben a halfhearted wave as I followed my partner back to the scene. I stared at the back of his head for the remainder of the walk and just before we reached the officers, I smacked Garcia on the back of the head. I continued walking as if nothing happened but was forced to stop when he roughly grabbed my arm, making me turn to look at him.

"Did, did you just bip me?!" He asked outraged.

"I did," I confirmed and went to walk away but he prevented me again. Frustrated, I glanced back at him with a pissed off look. "What?" I asked heatedly.

"Do you know what you just did?" I stared at his now red face and thought that this was the first time I'd ever seen him get angry despite all of the rude comments and presents I'd left in his desk.

"Um, I took my hand and slapped the back of your head since you were acting like a prick?"

I saw the fury in his eyes but before he could say anything we were called over by an officer. I gladly went over to him and left my partner there until he could cool off.

"We were dispatched to a disturbance call early this morning at around five," he explained as we walked up to a white sheet laid on the ground with several smaller ones scattered about as well as markers. "When we arrived on scene nothing was out of the ordinary, well, not until we walked down here."

Garcia approached us and I crouched down and examined the white sheet for a moment before I grabbed hold of an edge. I removed it and heard someone run away.I turned and saw Garcia running for the furthest garbage can so he wouldn't contaminate the scene and I couldn't help but think he had a weak stomach. I turned back around and looked at the dead man before me.

"We were able to identify him by his wallet that was found in the dumpster over there," the officer continued, pointing out the dumpster. "His name is Laken Foster, twenty two years old and also a nursing student. We tried contacting his family but we were only able to reach his sister and let me tell you, she didn't look like she cared at all."

"Must not have had a strong relationship or something caused a rift between her and her brother." I told him. I recovered the body and rose to my feet as a pale faced Garcia came back over to us. I watched as he put away his phone and took a deep breath.

"There's been another murder about seven miles east of here."

Just my luck, I get to chase a serial killer when I don't have Dominic.
