The rest of the day was spent just like before: us being, well, stupid.
It was so nice to just catch up with no one else around and be our old selves. I really love that place, and I know Louis does too so I hope we can go there a lot more often.
I'm currently home, sitting on the couch watching a show about a spy who finds love or something like that. I'm not really sure because I just turned it on but it's really weird.
I feel like such a lazy person right now. I'm literally sitting on the couch surrounded by a bunch of junk food doing absolutely nothing, but I really like it even though it's not such a good habit. Just as the spy is about to get caught undercover, I hear the door open then close with an exhausted looking Christine behind it.
"How did the job search go?" I ask as I lower the volume on the TV so I can listen to her.
"Good. I got a job at Topshop." She says as she flops down on the couch and starts eating the food I have set out.
"That's good. It should be easy coming from another clothing store." I tell her, wondering now where I should work.
"True. So what did you end up doing today?" She asks.
"Me and Louis hung out, it was fun." I say leaving out most of what actually happened. I had to catch myself from giving away too much because of Louis and me's promise not to tell anyone about the place.
"Sounds fun. I hope you two didn't just sit around doing nothing." She laughs, shoving her face with popcorn.
"No, we went out and just walked around." I say, telling the truth but not the truth at the same time. I love doing this with people in terms of things I don't want them to know the whole thing about. Because they can't say you lied if you were vague in your explanation. It's kinda mean but some things just aren't for everyone to know.
"Good. What time is it?" She yawns as she stretches her arms out over-exaggeratedly.
"Ten I think. You wanna watch a movie?" I ask, even though I know she's gonna say yes.
"Yeah. You know what we should watch?" She asks.
"What?"
"Something scary." She grins. We both love scary movies, even if they scar us.
"The conjuring?" I offering, seeing as that was the first movie that popped into my head.
"Yeah, go get it." She bosses me. Oh hell no.
"Not with that tone." I say like a mother would.
"Please go get off your fat ass and get the movie." She smiles widely, knowing that I'm going to get it even if she doesn't say it nicely.
"I hate you." I say as I pry myself off the couch over to our huge rack of movies.
"Love youuuuu." She drags out as I grab the movie, take it out of the case and slide it in the DVD player.
We get all comfy on the couch then spend the next 2 hours screaming bloody murder.
"Well that was... Interesting...." Christine says with the blanket literally pulled up so much I can barely see her eyes.
"I know. It's weird when they bend creepy ways and stuff." I shudder at the sight of young children being all scary and yeah I like scary movies but they still freak me out.
"I don't really wanna sleep in my room after that." Christine mumbles from beneath her blanket.
"Let's just sleep down here." I offer, not wanting to go in my room alone either.
