I sit in my bed, wondering what I could do for the whole rest of the day. I still can't believe the day practically just started.
Niall and Harry just dropped us off a couple minutes ago, and now I really don't know what to do. Well I know one thing to do.
"CHRISSSSSS." I yell as I hear her unusually loud footsteps run up the stairs.
"What?" She asks as she pokes her head in the doorway.
"Sit. I need to hear about you and Harry." I say as she takes a seat on my bed with a smile.
"Well, when they dropped us off we exchanged numbers and he said that we should go on another date and of course I agreed. Then he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and wow he's cute. You already heard the whole rest of the story." She laughed at her own words.
"That's great! I'm so happy for you guys. So what do you want to do today?" I ask her.
"Well I was actually thinking of going job hunting, you know considering neither one of us have a job." She says, which reminds me I need one too.
A couple of weeks ago, we were both working in the same little clothing store in town. The job was quite simple, folding clothes and helping customers. Plus, it was so convenient to work at the same place with the same hours. Then Christine and I were goofing off one day, playing with the mannequins in the window of the store when we didn't think our boss was around. Turns out she saw us and completely freaked out, saying it detracted customers or something. Them she fired us, so we both need to get new jobs to pay the bills and crap.
"Ugh I hate work." I groan at the thought of having to get a new job.
"Well you can come with me to look if you want." She offered. As much as I would like to, I can't.
"I don't think it's a good idea for us to work at the same place again after what happened last time. Maybe if we both try to get jobs at them mall we can still try to carpool?" I suggest.
"That would work, I was going to look for a job there anyways, actually. Just nothing in the food court I can't deal with that." She laughs.
"Okay, well I won't keep you. Good luck finding a place to work." I wish her good luck as she stands up and starts to walk out of the room.
"Thanks. But what are you going to do today?" She asks just before she leaves.
"Um... I don't know actually. I'll figure something out. Maybe catch up on some TV?" I shrug, starting to contemplate what I could do.
"You always do, but don't waste your day watching TV." She laughs as she leaves the room and heads downstairs to leave. Now I just have to figure out how to spend the rest of my day.
The first thing I need to do is re-get ready. I feel kinda gross from sleeping on the rooftop of a building, so I head to the shower. Plus, I can think best in there.
I turn on the water and jump in the shower, starting to wash my hair and such. The warm water hitting my back and rinsing off all of the dirt is just so relaxing, but I have to hurry a little since I don't want the water bills and everything to go up. Being an adult sucks.
I wash the shampoo out and put in some conditioner, and start to think about what I could do.
I can't call Niall and invite him over, I was just with him and I don't want to seem clingy. I really don't have any other friends in town, after high school I didn't keep in touch with any of them but Chris. Then in hit me.
Louis.
I haven't seen him in a couple of days, and since were friends again now we can start hanging out more often. Wait, I don't think we stopped being friends. I think we just lost contact. At least I would like to think that.
