After class, I follow Alison to the coffee shop that I'm going to meet her friends at.

The class was boring, mostly the teacher rambling on about I don't even know what. I spent most of the time messaging Alison on our laptops. I know it's not good that I barely payed attention, but from what I could hear the professor talking about I already knew what she was teaching.

The campus is beautiful, even on a normal rainy day in England. The huge brick building are scattered across pervasive lands of green, freshly cut grass. There were occasional benches and flower beds, which gave the place a nice character.

Currently, Alison and I are getting to know a little bit about each other.

"I grew up in London, had a pretty boring life, then came here after a little gap. I spent some time in between high school and college to earn some money to get myself started." She tells me, even sounding bored with her whole life.

"So tell me," she starts "I know you probably don't want to talk about them, but how do you know the One Direction boys?" She asks, clearly interested. I didn't mind this, because she isn't pounding me with questions. I mean, if someone knew the worlds biggest boy band I would like to know how as well.

"I grew up next door to Louis, and we were best friends from the start. When he went on X Factor, we lost touch then he came back from tour a little while ago and we started talking again. Then we went on a camping trip with the rest of the boys and yeah, that's basically it." I laugh at how I just spit that off of my tounge.

"So that's when you and Niall hooked up?" She says, wiggling her eyebrows in a manner that reminds me of Christine.

"No we did not hook up." I laugh at her choice of words. Why is it that people these days only feel like when you meet a guy you "hook up". It's just a little... Impersonal.

"I guess. But that's cool. Isn't someone named like Christina dating Harry?" She asks, and I laugh, noticing how she mixed up the names. But I get it, Christine and Christina are pretty close.

"My roomate Christine is dating him." I laugh.

"Ohhh, I think out of them he's my favorite, no offense. I like his hair." She laughs, and so do I considering most people over the age of 15 find it a little ridiculous.

"Same. So where's this coffee place were going to?" I ask, trying to continue the conversation.

"It's up here. Just a little more walking." She laughs, probably noticing how out of shape I am.

"So how many of you're friends will be there?" I ask, curious to find out.

"Four. There's two boys, Matt and Mike, and two girls, Zoe and Amanda. Mike and Zoe are dating, and I think Amanda likes Matt but don't tell her I told you that." She laughs. I mean, considering I don't even know them yet I don't think it would be a good first impression to tell her I know who she likes, so I can keep that to myself.

"I won't. Do you have a boyfriend?" I ask her, realizing I don't know yet.

"Well you see, there's kind of a problem. Your know how I told you Mike and Zoe are dating?" She asks me, and I nod.

"Well, I kinda like Mike and I think he might be into me too. I don't know for sure but he acts like it when she's not around, but then she walks in, and he barely looks at me." She explains, and I feel kinda bad for her. I mean she likes the guy her friend is dating, but, he doesn't seem like that good of a guy if he is leading Alison on while in a relationship.

We arrive at this cute quirky little coffee shop. As we open the door the bell rings and I inhale that fresh brewed coffee smell and take in the mismatched chairs and couches littered around the dark hardwood floor. There was barely any space to walk because the owners were obviously trying to get as much seating space as possible in the small shop. I could already tell that this would be a place I would frequent.
