"Open this up." I handed Essence a big box from under the tree while holding my phone as I talked on FaceTime.
"What is it?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows shaking the box to see what was in there.
"If you open it you'll see." Jaycee mumbled rolling his eyes.
We had this thing where one person at a time open their gifts and Essence was taking her time. Jaycees impatient ass just wanted to see what he got after he's been sneaking all over the house to see.
"Shut up nobody asked you." She rolled her eyes before tearing the paper off the box.
She opened it and it revealed that little American doll she wanted. All she wanted it because she said she liked playing in her hair so I got her a look alike doll whose her she can play in.
"Thank you mommy." She said wrapping her arms around my neck.
"It wasn't me it was all Devin." I pointed to Devin sitting on the couch with his attention on his phone.
"Oh. Thank you." She replied simply.
I wondered why her attitude suddenly changed but as soon as Odell came home Devin no longer exists like he did at first. He didn't really care because he understood.
Shid I feel like I no longer exists either but that's my just my thoughts.
"Jay start opening your presents now." I called out walking into the kitchen.
"Yeaaaah." I heard him yell making me giggle.
"Mel?" I spoke to trying to see if she was still there seeing that she had me on pause.
"Yeah my bad I was on Twitter. Now can you help me find a outfit? Oh i'm cute." She pouted as I sat by the window.

Her face popped back on the screen as she moved around the room. She was going by Herbs family today and she wanted to dress nicely.
But half of the stuff Mel had in her closet was club outfits.
"What about this one?" She held up one outfit that looked like she was about to go to a lil Wayne concert.
"Mel is freezing cold outside baby." I said chuckling going into the refrigerator.
"Well shit I didn't know because it was just hot as hell yesterday." She said throwing the clothes on the bed.
