"Ahhh bitch you better cut the fuck up!" Mel screamed on FaceTime.
"Mel it's so pretty man. I didn't expect none of this shit I swear I didn't." I confessed looking down at my ring.

"You thought is ass was cheating when he was planning this all along. Odell is too cute for this." She said rocking Herbert to sleep in her arms.
"I did and I apologized after my emotional ass stopped crying. Did y'all know anything about this?" I asked turning my volume up so I could hear her clearly.
"Nobody knew about this not even Herb and they're the closet friends. He really did keep in on the dlow. I'm proud of him." She said.
"The only person who knew was Ariel." Odell said coming out of the bathroom from finishing his shower.
"How come she was the only one you told when Herb knew you longer?" I frowned as he gave me a don't start look.
"She was the only woman I could go to- to actually get advice. I didn't go to my moms or Vanessa because I knew their happy asses were gonna say something. I knew damn well not to ask Mel."
I laughed. "I can't be mad at you for being smart."
"Odell this is why we have beef. You always fucking with me bruh." Mel said rolling her eyes as Odell laughed.
"I'm just playing Melanie, it's all love baby sis." He said dropping his towel and placing on some boxers.
"You're apology is accepted with your bug head ass." She laughed and Odell quickly turned around to look at me.
"Look b-" before he could finish the phone call disconnected making me laugh.
"Y'all are crazy." I shook my head grabbing my shoes from the floor.
"She started with me. Don't worry imma tag that ass when I see her." He nodded his head making me shake mine.
"Odell can you please put my shoes on for me." I pouted giving him the puppy dog eyes.
My feet and ankles were swollen like hell. My stomach was blocking the way where I couldn't put my shoes on.
If I tried to I would flip over and roll like a damn bowling ball or them fat things that be on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
"I gotchu love." He said slipping his shirt over my head then bending on the floor.
"Thank you." I clapped once he placed the sandals on my feet correctly.
"It's time for a mani and pedi don't ya think?" He joked as I gasped.
"If you're telling me my toes and finger look bad that's a problem. I'm in need of a massage anyways." I moaned thinking about the feeling in my head.
"Yeah cause then creatures be biting me at night. I be scared to say something because you was gonn try to attack me withcha dogs." I laughed as he chuckled placing his shoes on.
"I swear I hate you Odell. You make me so sick boy."
He finished got dressed and we made our way to the doctor. They checked up on the baby to make sure he or she was doing well and they were.
We had to chance to find out the sex but like we said, we wanted to keep it a secret. Odell got mad with my suggestion because he really wanted to know which led us to fussing.
I told him it was going to be a girl which made him more mad than he already was.
"Why are we here? Trin you know I don't eat this shit." He scrunched up his face as I pulled up to the Seafood restaurant.
"Just come on." I grabbed his thigh before getting out of the car.
"Oh hell nah." He stated once he saw Corey and his wife sitting at a booth.
"Behave please." I begged and he gave me a look showing me that he was pissed off.
"If you behave I'll give you something special tonight." I whispered in his ear.
"Wassup my niggas. How y'all folks doing." Odell fake smiled going up too their table.
"Hey." Corey greeted with a awkward laugh following behind his wife.
"Hey hey. Did you guys order yet?" They nodded in unison.
"We ordered the big platter of seafood since the place was busy and the waitress was gonna take long. If that's okay." His wife said rubbing her stomach.
"Oh yeah that's fine. That's all I've been craving because of this one." I pointed to my stomach as she smiled nodding.
"Why are we here again?" Odell blurted and I punched him under the table.
"I wanted to thank Corey and-"
"Tanisha." She gave me her name.
"Tanisha for helping me out at the store. If you guys weren't there I would've lost my baby so thank you." I smiled small.
"I'm just glad you're okay. I was worried as hell once you got into the ambulance. How is the little one?"
"Their doing good." I nodded watching the waitress sit the food down.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" Corey asked breaking the crab leg in half.
"Gir-"
"Issa boy." Odell side eyed me.
"I'm team girl." Tanisha smiled.
"Did I ask you that b-" I covered Odells mouth by stuffing two shrimps in it.
"Good right? You know what else is good? Cookies but you're not gonna get it." I wiped off the corners of his mouth whispering in his ear.
"Sorry about that." I chuckled as I felt Odell glaring at me.
We finished up our brunch talking and getting to know each other. I paid for the entire meal because they helped me out.
Of course Odell stubborn ass had to comment about it. Whatever Corey and I went through was the past, it's all love now.
