Reading the diary was the last thing my mom ever told me to do, and with everything going on I completely forgot. I looked at the diary scared to find out what was inside. But the urge to read it was very strong, So, I opened it up, and saw the first page was made out to me, so I flipped through the book to see that it just wasn't the first entry but all of them were made out to me.

So, I started to read the first one.

Dear Sky,

If you are reading this, then it means that your father and I have passed and we never got to tell you the truth. This is the story of how you became our daughter.

It was on New Year's Eve when your real father, Joel, came to us late at night.

When your adoptive father and I opened the door to reveal Joel at the front door with a newborn girl in his arms we were beyond shocked.

"Joel? What's wrong? And who's baby is that?" we had asked him letting him into the house.

"This is my daughter, Skylar, what's wrong is that I am about to die, and her mother has already passed giving birth to her and her twin brother."

We both gasped at this information, "She has a twin brother? Where is he?"

"He is back home with Lizzie's mother, but that is beside the point. Did you ever wonder why I left in the first place, and never kept in touch with anyone but you guys?" he asked us.

"Yes we did, we always do." Rod replied back to him.

"Well the truth is I was turned into a vampire when I went off to college, and realized that I was too dangerous for you guys so I had to stay away. But, at college is where I met their mother Lizzie.

"What? That is not possible, werewolves and vampires don't exist." Rod shook his head not willing to believe it.

"Believe it or not brother but they do and so do many other creatures. And when I met Lizzie we realized that we were mates we decided to get married and live a peaceful and happy life and decided to start a family. But, when Lizzie got pregnant we were visited by the Queen of all supernatural. She came to request something of us. She told us that our daughter would grow up to be very pure, so she wanted to make our daughter the heir to her throne. We wanted to agree immediately, but there was a catch, she said that if we wanted this to happen, we had to be willing to pay a price, and the price was our death once the child had been born. But, me and Lizzie were both willing to pay the price so we agreed right away, because we were proud to know that our daughter would grow up to be someone important and someone great. We originally had planned to let Skylar stay and grow up with Lizzie's mom, but then we found out we were having twins, and when we told the queen this, she smiled wisely at us and told us that both our children would be gifted with the ability of a witch, werewolf, and vampire, the first ever trio hybrid. And the reason we would be having twins is because one of our children would be the protector, the one to be born first, the boy, our boy, Summer. Both of them would be really powerful, but Skylar, would be stronger, because she will be needed to destroy the evil that is growing. But then her smile disappeared, and when we asked her what was wrong, she told us that once the twins are born they will be needed to separate until Skylar's sixteenth birthday, in order to keep them bo"th safe. So, that is why Lizzie and I decided to leave Summer there and bring Skylar here, so she could have a chance at having a normal life, because Summer's transformation will occur earlier than hers. He will transform by 12, and Skylar at 16. And the place we have left him, there is a werewolf pack living there and Lizzie's family are all shifter so they can help him. So, my request is if you both can take Skylar until her sixteenth birthday?"
