Hi, I’m Anne. Let’s see how messed up my life is. I was rejected by the guy who was supposed to love me. My family, especially my brother, hate me. I have no friends at school. Oh yeah, and I’m a 15 year old werewolf.

I have decided to run away from home, from my pack and become a rogue. Before I tell you about that, I should tell you how my last few days at home were.

Before I go on about the day, I’ll tell you some things about our pack. Roderick is the Alpha. Darren, my brother is the Beta. Luke was the 3rd in command. They were all jerks to me, and not just them, the whole pack. I lived in the pack house with them, to make it worse.

So now back to my story, it was the biggest day for our pack, the day the Alpha, Roderick, would turn 18, find his mate and become the official Alpha of the Grey Forest pack. Everyone was so excited to see who he would end up with.

So the day of his 18th birthday he looked at almost every girl at school searching for his mate. He hadn’t found her.

On my way to class I accidental bumped into him. That’s when I felt it. That electric feeling. I knew he felt it too. I looked at him in shock. He looked at me horrified. Then he quickly snapped out of it and said “Watch where you’re going, loser.”

“You…you didn’t feel anything?” I asked.

“What are you talking about?” he said and walked off.

My wolf was infuriated. How dare he reject me?! HIS MATE! I began crying.

They say once you find your mate, your life is complete. You can never be separated. Why me? Why did I get stuck with the jerk? Why me? What did I do to deserve this. He made my life a living hell.

I sat there, on the hallway floor and cried. After about 10 minutes I saw someone standing next to me.It was Darren. “What’s wrong with you?” he asked.

“Roderick, he’s my mate, and he rejected me.” I sobbed.

“RODERICK?! YOUR MATE?” he laughed. “He’d never be paired up with such a loser. He’s my best friend, Anne; he would have told me a long time ago if it was you. Which it’s not!” he continued laughing.

That was it. That was the last straw.

I got up and walked away. Once I reached the parking lot of the school I shifted. I wasn’t really a huge wolf, but i was a fast one. My small, gray wolf ran and ran. Once I was home I ran straight to my room. I threw myself one my bed crying and crying. I couldn’t take this anymore, I needed to get out of here. I grabbed a small bag and began putting things in there; a few sets of clothes and some money. I grabbed my iPod and phone and before I left I wrote a letter

Dear Family and Pack,

I’m sorry I have to leave like this. I wish things were different but

I can’t take this anymore. Darren, you’re a jerk, Roderick you’re a bigger one. Even though you denied me as you’re mate, I still wish you luck running the pack. Oh, and Darren, please tell mom and dad that it isn’t their faults that I’m gone, it’s yours and Roderick’s. So goodbye, ex-pack.
