ANNES POV
I walked to the living room which was now empty. I threw myself on the couch and started crying. I lost Roderick and Danny. I felt so alone.
“Hey…” I heard Grant say as he walked into the room.
“Hi. Where are the guys?”
“In the backyard, planning how to find Melinda.”
“Do you think we’ll get Roderick back?”
“I don’t know. “
“Grant!” I heard someone yell from the backyard.
He sighed and stood up.
“What?!” he yelled walking to the backyard.
Melinda’s POV
I ran through the forest as fast as I could.
“Stop! You evil bitch!” Roderick’s wolf yelled at me.
“Shut up. I control you now!”
“You better not lay a finger on Anne or I’ll kill you myself!”
“How? You can’t leave this body. You are powerless!” I don’t even know why he’s fighting with me. I have control over him.
“I can annoy you. That’s enough for now.”
“You know what? I’m going to go find that which and have her get rid of you!”
“Fine!”
I ran through the woods, trying to find the way back to the witch’s house.
I found the little cabin in the woods where the witch lived. I walked up to the door and knocked on the door. The little old witch opened the door.
She had a panicked look on her face.
“Look I need you to get his damn wolf out of me! He’s fogging up my thoughts and-“I stopped when I saw Danny and Billy behind the witch. Shit!
I turned around and tried running away but Mike and Chase were behind me and stopped me. They dragged me inside of the witch’s house. I fought back but with Roderick’s thoughts clouding my mind, it was hard to focus on fighting.
They tied me down to a table and I continued to try and escape.
The witch looked at Danny and Danny nodded. The witch began mumbling some words and I blacked out. I woke up on the forest floor. I had two packs of angry wolves looking at me. I saw Roderick and Danny looked the most pissed.
Before any one said anything I shifted and tried sprinting away. I had about 8 wolves sprinting after me. I hope I can lose them.
Anne’s POV.
I began to worry. Danny and Darren said that they had some “business” to attend to. It’s been hours. Where could they be?
I heard a car pull in and relief filled me. The door opened but instead of seeing 2 packs I only saw 3 people. Danny, Darren and Roderick.
My emotions went crazy the second I laid eyes on Roderick. I wanted to jump into his arms aand never let go but I controlled myself.
“Anne.” Roderick said with admiration.
“Hi, Roderick.” I said trying to hide the emotion in my voice.
“Look Anne, I was such a jerk and I wish I could take it all back. I’m sorry and I don’t expect you to forgive me but just know that I’m sorry.”
“Why? Why did you reject me?”
“I was a cocky, arrogant asshole. I was a wreck after you left…”
“I…I forgive you but, I just don’t know if I can take you back. “
“I expected this. It’s alright but you just need to know that I’m so sorry.”
I didn’t know what to do. Roderick seemed like he meant it and my wolf wanted him so badly.
I walked up to Roderick and put my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me softly.
“You get one more shot, screw it up and we’re over.” I told him.
“Alright. One chance is all I need.” I smiled and kissed him again.
