CHAPTER 8

I walked to lunch by myself. I didn't want to be bothered. I felt split. I actually felt miserable than what I should feel. As I sat down, I felt Snape's eyes right on me. I gave him a small glance to ackowlege him, to show that I know that that he is staring at me. His face was cold stone, but his eyes were very sympathetic. I didn't buy it though. I didn't want sympathy. I wanted answers.

'You can't be mad at me forever, Sky. Please, at least understand what I'm feeling.' My head shot right at him. I can't believe he used Legitimacy on me! I pushed him out though, not wanting to be bothered.

"Hey, Sky-What's wrong, mate?" George asked as he began to sit down. I shook out of my day dream and I smiled.

"Hey, George... Where's Harry and the gang?" I asked.

"Don't know. Probably at the Three Broomsticks." I nodded and I began to eat before Harry and them ran in.

"Where have you guys been?" I snarled. Harry looked up before anyone else did. His face was stone and his eyes looked lost and confused.

"I was with, Dumbledore. Ron and Hermione were at the Three Broomsticks," Harry answered plainly. I gave him a weird eye before I looked at Ron.

"And what did you guys do there?" Ron merely smiled and eased down my stress that was slowly bubbling up as Snape kept on watching me.

"We had something to drink, that's all. I'm sorry I didn't invite you but you looked pretty busy," Ron said and his head gestured to Snape. My face cringed and I chuckled.

"I'll see you guys later," I said. I slowly got up, and left them. As I walked towards the door, Snape was right behind my tail.

"Wait," I heard a monotone voice call out. I stopped and turned around.

"What," I groaned. I spun around on my heels and smirked. Snape only growled under his breath and grabbed me by the arm and spun me around. He began to drag me down to the dungeons and into his private quaters.

"Let go of me!" I screamed. "HELP! HELP!" I yelled out. "Help-" Snape slapped his hand over my mouth and sighed.

"You are an awful child," he breathed out.

"I'm not a child," I hissed as I shoved his grip off. He breathed out and brushed off the wrinkled that clinged to his cloaks.

"You are to me," he whispered. He turned around and began to organize his papers. I strolled over and cocked my head to the side.

"Why do you care so much?" He froze. His hands were still on the parchments that had ink that was slowly fadding in the paper. The parchment glowed a golden color because of the light. His long fingers lingered across the wrinkled edges.

"Because...I knew you ever since you were born," he quietly spoke. His words were sharp, but almost had a weak vibe to them.

"You knew me ever since I was a baby? Why? How?" I persisted. I knew I was making this hard for him. He looked tensed and he began to walk around. Trying hard not to look at me.

"Snape, what are you not telling me?" I questioned once more. He soon crumbled up the paper and whispered something.

"What?" I asked.

"You should of have been mine!" he screamed. Tears were slowly falling down his face. He chucked the parchment at the wall and began to cast spells at it. His fist was clenched and his eyes looked bitter.

"Snape. Snape! Please settle down!" I yelled as I ran up to him and put my hands on his arm.

"He killed her. He tricked her. You were supposed to be mine. You were supposed to be my child," he whimpered. He let out a heavy breath and put his hand to his face. Slowly, he began to brush the tears off his face.

"But I am yours... I am."

"You are not my own. You are not my blood," he spat. I gasped at his hurtful comment. It shouldn't matter. I am his.

"I'm-I'm sorry, sweetheart," he solemnly said. He slowly lowered himself to my height and pecked me on the lips.

"You are mine, now. You are," he whispered and he pressed his forehead against mine.

"I love you," I whispered. He smiled.

"I love you, too." All of a sudden the door burst open.

"Sky?"
