I was lying on my bed with my headphone on to distract myself from the world that's when I saw a notification pop up. Uh? Who messaged me now? I opened it and it was a message from Aron.

Aron- Hello:)

Emily- Hey.

Aron- are you coming on the school trip?

Emily- Nope, my mom didn't allow me. But I really wanted to come though.

(Our school is taking students on a school trip for 4 days)

Aron- oh, it's okay next time you can join us.

Emily - Yeah, sure :)

Aron - well so are you okay?

Emily - umm..i will be :)

Aron - take care. Bye

Emily - bye.

Why is he being so caring? And why am I keep thinking about him again and again? Do I love him? Oh, stop it Emily not again. There's no chance of you having him ever so you'll end up breaking your heart all over again. Forget it, Emily.

Well, I don't know when I'm gonna stop doing weird things like talking to myself.

I went out in my balcony and breath the fresh air in. It feels so good out here.
My phone starts ringing. It's Skylar. I picked it up, hey Skylar.
Hi Emily, is something bothering you? She asked.
Huh? I replied.
I knew your answer would be lame as always. Well, I just felt like there is something bothering you because of your weird behavior all day and you aren't telling me. Is it so? Better don't lie. She replied.
There's nothing like that actually you remember your neighbor Aron?, I said.
Yeah, of course, I do. Did he do something and why all of sudden he came to your mind? she replied.
Jesus, stop shooting so many questions and listen to me. First of all, we have been talking for a while and I'm soon gonna send you the screenshots of the convo so I was just like thinking that why all of sudden he messaged me and all those stuff, I said.
Well, calm your ass, you girl. It's normal maybe he is just trying to help you to get over this breakup thing and all if you remember then you both were friends back then in 5std, She replied.
Yeah for sure I do and I hope you remember that I also had a crush on him back then, I said.
Oh yeah, I do, she replied.
Well, I gtg so see ya tomorrow I said and hung up after she said goodbye.

I don't know why I did so but I don't want to discuss about him anymore. Am I scared that I might fall in love with him again? Ah, stop thinking Emily.

I put my phone on charge and after completing all my school works went directly to sleep.

The next morning when I woke up I dressed up and went to school in a hurry as I was again late.
After reaching school the first person on whom my eyes stopped on was Aron and all of sudden I felt a weird kind of nervousness.

"Hey, Emily!", Skylar shouted and I was taken aback and forget that I have been staring him from like the past few minutes.

"Where were you lost, Emily?", Skylar questioned while looking at the same side where I had been looking from the past few minutes.

"Uh? Were you staring at Aron?" She asked.

"No no", I said and started walking hurriedly before she starts shooting questions but she didn't understand it and came running behind me and stood there asking me if I like him?
I stopped right there and said what? No!
"It seems like you do", she said.
"But I don't and stop with this discussion now please", I said and walked away from her.

When I reached class Skylar too came after a few minutes and sat behind me in silence. I didn't say a word but soon she started with her stories and I must say that in most of her stories Aron's name always comes as he is her neighbor so they are like brother and sister. I love the bonding they have between them like most of the time they keep on teasing each other but they also care about each other. So as she started again her stories were related to Aron and every time his name was coming I was giving a small smile and I don't have any idea that why I was doing so?
Well soon a male teacher came in asked those students to give their names who were interested in going on the school trip and it reminded me of Aron. He said yesterday that he's going too.
Well, why every time I'm getting to hear his name today? Forget him, Emily.

Soon the school ended and I headed to my home after saying Skylar a goodbye. As soon as I reached home I did my lunch and put my headphones on. I was so happy that tomorrow it's Sunday so no school and I can relax the whole day in peace. Well, there's no message from Aron today? He might be busy planning about tomorrow's school trip or maybe he forgot me, after all, I'm not a person to have fun with just a normal boring girl. Well, whatever I don't care.
