Chapter 1

He never loved you Emily, Skylar said to me and I started crying even more.
But if he never loved me then why would he ever propose me on his knees back then and why would he plan our future together ? I questioned back.
He used you, she replied.
But how can you be so sure? I questioned.
Because all he ever did was talk about s*x with you, called you at different secret places to meet so that he could touch you although you never went because of school works and when it came to other things, has he ever been with you when you needed him to support you? No, right she said with a serious tone.
I didn't say anything and there was complete silence. After a few minutes, her phone rang so she excused herself and went out of the room.
While she was out all I could think about was every single word she said, was she right? Should I forget him and move on? I said to myself.
After some time she came back and said, it was my mom as you know that it's Christmas so my dad would be coming back to spend these few days with us and I got to pick him up from the airport.

Before going she pecked my forehead and I gave her a warm smile back.

Now the whole room was empty except me and my devastated heart at this moment.

There's a lot of questions going on in my mind and there are so many questions I don't have the answers to. And did she said Christmas? Jesus, I totally forget about it. As I stood up from my bed my mobile lit up. Who would message me except him? I picked it up and opened the lock.

Message from "Aron"

Huh?
Why did he message me and what did he message me? I said to myself.

I opened it.

Aron - Merry Christmas Emily!

What reminded him of me all of sudden?
And that's when I remembered that he used to be my crush back then when I was in 5th std and he was like my really serious crush for straight 3 years but then one day I came to know about his crush who was my enemy and looking at how much he liked her and knowing that I don't have any chance with him I forgot about him but why is he messaging me now? Well, still I replied back.

Emily- Merry Christmas Aron :)

Aron- so how are you?
He replied back like he was waiting for it.

Emily- I'm fine and how are you?

Aron- I'm good. So are you still angry with me?

Emily - Angry on you? Why?

Aron- Don't you remember we had a small fight recently because of some misunderstanding? Though I'm really sorry about it.

Emily - oh yeah I remember. It's okay :)
(it was just a small thing at school, I don't even know why does he remember it till now.)

Aron- So if you don't mind can I ask you something?

Emily- yeah sure.

Aron- did you and Jack broke up?

Emily - Yeah, he ditched me.

Aron - ummm..it's okay. Get over him.

Emily - trying :)

Aron - So any plans for Christmas?

Emily- I'm just gonna go out with my mom and that's all.

Aron - it's good, so enjoy :)

Emily - Thank you and bye :)

Aron -  Bye. Take care.

As I kept my phone all I could think about was him.
Well, it felt good that someone bothered about me but other than someone it felt better that he bothered about me. I don't know what the heck my mind is thinking now. I sat back and remembered the day when I came to know about his crush. I was in 7std back then when I got too dedicated to him. All-day long I used to think about him and I even made my Facebook account just to talk to him. I remember how he unknowingly broke a little girl's heart who was insanely in love with him. It was the first time when I cried for a boy and it was when I came to know about his crush only that little girl know that pain. Well whatever I was over that crush and I'm never getting those feelings back I said to myself and soon I fell asleep for a small nap.
