Chapter 2

Wake up, Emily!! Mom shouted from downstairs.
I lifted my head up lazily from the pillow and turned to my left to see what time it was.
Jesus! I'm already late now I just have a few minutes and I have a lot to do.
I got up fast from the bed and went directly inside the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. Woah, I look drunk maybe because I have been crying all night and wetting my pillow.
Well, Emily stop talking to yourself and get ready because you have already wasted so much time by waking up late.
I took my brush put the paste on it and started brushing and then I turned the shower on and let those cold drops wet my body completely and free my mind from all the stresses lately.
I moved outside the room after getting dressed and doing some eye makeup so that no one thinks of me as a drunker.
As I got downstairs I can smell the food mom must be cooking.
I went inside and sat on the chair waiting for mom to serve the food so that I could feed those dragons inside my stomach because they have been making the sound from last night.
After getting the food served I completed it all as fast as I can and went outside in a great hurry because I just have 10 minutes now for reaching school.

I went inside the school and the first person I saw was, of course, my best friend Skylar and I must say that she is always excited for no reason and full of fun. It has been just 1 year of our friendship but the bonding we have is so strong that no one believes it. Well, she is the only person in my life who understand me and be with me whenever I need her.

Heyyyaaaaaa!!! She said or you can also say shouted.

Hey, I replied back.

You're late as always you know Emily, she said.

I know, I replied.

Well, then we went to our class and chatted a lot on the way. After reaching we sat on our places and I can see Jack standing with his friends near the door and that's when my mood went off but as soon as I could get more lost in my saddens I totally forget that my crazy best friend was right beside me to cheer me up. She told me to ignore him and I just followed her instructions and went on ignoring him.

The teacher came in and class went on and for sure it was boring as always. After the first period got over another teacher came in and we all wished her a good morning.

"First of all sit-down everyone and listen to my instructions carefully because I won't be repeating again so, today I'm gonna divide you all into four groups and each group would be having six members. After that, I'm gonna give a topic to you all on which you all gonna speak tomorrow in a radio show who's marks would be added in the formative assessment column so best of luck. Now come and know your groups." Mrs.Mary our new English teacher said to us.
I went to Mrs. Mary and took my group number. It was 3 so I went according to it and stood with other members of my group. I felt relaxed when I saw my best friend standing in the same group as mine but soon my smile faded away when my ex Jack came to the same group. We all made a circle and started discussing that who gonna do what but during all these my eyes were locked on him and watching him being so relaxed and happy like nothing happened lately anger inside me started increasing but I ignored it all and concentrated on the discussion but it ended up getting spoiled when Jack did some hurting comments on me.

As I reached home I ran to my room and threw myself on the bed. I tried hard not to waste any more tears on a jerk but soon I ended up crying again.
