Chapter 20

Emily's P.O.V

So today Skylar and Kayla are going to come to my house for the group project that we have got. Our school is going to held an exhibition next week and we have participated in it together but till now I have no idea how I am going to do it but yesterday at school we have roughly planned it. I have got most of the stuff for the model and now I am waiting for their arrival.
I am sitting in the hall and changing the channels continuously because nothing interesting is going on. Just then I heard my phone ring. It displayed the name 'Kyla'.

Kyla- Hey Emily, where are you?

Emily - Hello, I am at my house? Where else would I be?

Kyla- I mean I can't find your house. Come and pick me up from your lane.

Emily- Okay.

I went downstairs and saw her car standing a few meters away from my house. She has been there before as well when we were both small. After that, we didn't really hang out together that much until I came in 8th grade and got in touch again. It was really great to get in touch with your childhood friends again.

"Let's go!", Kyla said as she headed towards me.

"Yayyyy!"

We both were in my house now when I got the call of Skylar as well that she has reached too. I watched her coming towards my house from the balcony.

She greeted my mother and then we all went into the room, to begin with our project work. We spent half of the time talking and not doing any work at all. But we didn't waste much time and started with the work. My mom came in with the snacks and cold drinks. I munched as I opened my mobile to see what's Aron's doing.

Emily- Hey baby.

*After 5 minutes *

Aron- Hey, so your friends came?

Yes, he knew that they are going to come to my house. While we were discussing the project today in the class he asked me about it and then I told him how we are going to do it.

Emily- Yes they did and we have almost completed the project.

Aron- That's really great.

Emily - Yeah!

Aron - Okay now go and spend time with them.

Emily- Yes, you are right.

Aron- Bye baby :*

Emily- Bye babe :*

I kept my phone and begin talking with them. After like an hour we were finally done and they were heading back to their homes. I had a really great time spending this evening with my friends after a really long time.

I was walking inside the school with my elder sister Melanie. She is in high school right now and would be going to college next year. I am surely going to miss walking with her to school every day and talking on the way. As we were walking up the stairs. I saw a guy coming towards us but I had no idea who is he.

"Hey", he said to my sister.

"Hello", my sister replied back with a smile.

They then started with their normal conversation but it ended too soon and she came back to me after waving him back.

"You know what", she said while were still walking.

"What?"

"That guy, you know him?", she was now looking at me.

"No"

"I have heard from my friends that he thinks you are cute and he likes you but isn't approaching because of me", she said and started laughing.
