Chapter 14:

Britney's POV - 

"Yes it is." Nathan whispered back. I turned to look at him. 

"So, do you come here often?" I questioned.

"Ya, I come here almost ever night, to think and have some alone time." Nathan replied.

"Oh, it's really beautiful." I said.

Another awkward silence surrounded us. I looked back up at the sky. After about 15 minutes of me and Nathan just gazing up at the sky, I decided to look at him. I turned my head to look at him, only to find him in deep thought. I wanted to know what he was thinking about, so I used my mind-reading ability. I didn't know how to use it properly yet, but I did have an idea how to do it. I focused on Nathan and blocked away everything else, but I still couldn't get through, it was like he had a wall surrounding his mind.

"Don't try reading my mind, I have the block on." Nathan said, without even looking my way.

"I-I wasn't r-r-reading your mind." I sluttered, denying that I was trying to read his mind. He finally looked my way.

"Don't even try denying it, I can feel you trying to push your way in my mind." He replied, looking me dead in the eye.

"But, I didn't feel Damon trying to push his way in mind, when he was reading my thoughts." I said confusingly.

"You couldn't feel Damon trying to read your mind because he is a senior in mind-reading, he's in Level 10, and he is an expert. That's why I'm telling you to always have your block on." Nathan said, I could tell he was getting serious.

"Okay, fine." I said, because I knew he was right.

"I think Damon must be out of his room by now, lets go check." Nathan said.

"But where will he be late at night?" I asked.

"Damon always goes to the computer lab at night. I don't know why, so don't ask." Nathan said.

"Okay lets go." I said.

Nathan, and I got up from our seats and made our way inside. We were in the hallway walking to Damon's room, in silence.

Ryan's POV - 

We were on the library's computer, trying to find something on Joshua. So far we hadn't found anything.

"OH MY GOD! This is impossible, I can't find anything." Elena said, looking fusturated. I chuckled at her face.

"It's okay, we'll find something eventually." I said, trying to brighten her mood.

"How can you not get pissed off? We've been here for about an hour, and we still can't find anything." Elena said.

"Well if both of us are pissed off then it's going to be chaos, and I don't want that to happen." I said.

"Ya, you're right." Elena said.

"I always am." I said cockily, while winking at her. She playfully hit me on the arm, and then got back to doing some research.

I also got back to doing mine. I was in the middle of going through a book, when I looked up at Elena. She had a fusturated expression, but I had to admit she still looked adorable. I was snapped out of my thought when Elena spoke.

"See something you like?" Elena said, looking up at me.

"N-n-no." I sluttered. Real smooth Ryan. I thought.

"Aww, you're so cute." Elena said, pinching my cheeks.

I hadn't noticed but Elena had come closer than before. I had no idea what happened but I took one more step and now our chest were touched. I noticed Elena's breathing got faster. She tried to take a step back, but I quickly slid my arm around her waist and pulled her flush against me. Elena let out a small gasp. We gazed into each others eyes intently, I looked down at her lips and back up to her eyes. Elena also looked at my lips and back up. I leaned in and attached my lips to her.

Elena's POV - 

My stomach was filled with butterflies when Ryan's lips attached to mine. I hung my arms around Ryan's neck, and tangled my hand into Ryan's hair. Ryan's arms tightened around my waist. The kiss was so passionate, that I thought I was going to faint. I kissed him back with even more passion. I felt him smile into the kiss. I ran his tounge over my bottom lip asking for persmission, I eagerly obeyed. He slipped his tounge into my mouth and took control over the kiss. I pulled away breathless, but Ryan didn't stop. He kissed across my jaw line, and down my neck. I moaned when I felt him suck on the base of my throat. He smirked on my skin when he heard me moan.

"Ahem." We pulled away quickly when we heard someone fake cough. I looked around and found Cynthia and Jordan at the enterance of the library. Cynthia was smirking, while Jordan was looking like he would be anywhere but here, I think Jordan was feeling uncomfortable.

"Oh, someone's is getting cozy." Cynthia mocked.

I blushed a deep red, and looked up at Ryan to see him smirking at my reaction. Was he not affected by our heated make out session. I blushed even more when Ryan winked at me.

"Oh whatever, Jordan and I came here to show you guys something." Cynthia said.

"Ya, we found something really shocking." Jordan said, though he still looked like he was feeling awkward.

"What did you guys find?" Ryan asked, turning his playfull mood, to a more serious one.
