Chapter 15

Chapter 15:

Elena's POV - 

"Ya tell us what you guys found." I said, getting eager to find out what they found.

"Um.." Jordan said trailing off.

"WHAT!?!?!?" Ryan screamed, getting angry.

"We found out that Joshua has a younger brother." Cynthia said.

"So, he has a sibling, how is that shocking?" I said.

"Well, actually the shocking part is that who is Joshua's younger brother." Cynthia said.

"Okay, fine tell us, who is Joshua's younger brother?" I asked.

"It's..." Cynthia started.

"It's Damon, Damon is Joshua's younger brother." Jordan finished off for Cynthia.

"Oh-- WHAT!!!" I said.

"Really?" Ryan asked.

"Yes! We're serious." Cynthia said.

"I don't believe you, do you guys even have proof." I said, not believing a single word they said.

I know Damon, he is my best friend, and I know that he wouldn't lie to me about anything. If he had a brother then I would've known. I don't know what is wrong with everybody, first Britney and now Cynthia and Jordan, they are all blaming Damon.

"Actually we do have proof." Jordan said.

"Ya we do." Cynthia said. She opened a book, that I hadn't noticed she was carrying before. She opened it to a page and handed the book to me. 

I saw a picture of two boys, one boy looked about 4 years old, and the other boy looked like he was 11 years old. There was also an older woman, I'm guessing the woman was the boys mother because the boys looked like younger boy versions of the woman.  I looked closer and realization hit me, the younger boy was.... Damon. Underneath the picture was a caption saying Queen Tessa, Damon Miller, and Joshua Miller.

"Oh My God." I whispered.

Britney's POV - 

Me and Nathan are standing in front of Damon's door. Nathan put his ear to the door and listened for any movement.

"I don't think anyone is inside because I can't hear anything." Nathan said. He put a bobby pin in the lock and opened it. We stepped inside and started looking around. 

I am looking in Damon's drawers, when I opened the last one I found a picture.

"Nathan, I think I found something." I said.

Nathan came up to me and examined the picture.

"The caption says that the little one is Damon and the older one is Joshua. Oh my god, it also says that they were brothers." I told Nathan.

"And the woman is their mum." Nathan finished off for me.

"That means that Jordan and Damon were brothers!" I exclaimed.

"I see you found the picture." A voice said from behind us. Nathan and I turned around to find Damon.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I think you're forgetting that this is my room, so I have every right to be here." Damon replied. I realized he was right.

"Joshua is your brother!" I accused. 

"Yes, yes he is." Damon said looking me straight in the eye.

"Why didn't you tell me that? Does Elena know? Do you know where Joshua is?" I asked, attacking him with questions.

"I didn't tell you because I knew if you found out Joshua is my brother you wouldn't believe me. No Elena doesn't know. No I don't know where Joshua is, I haven't been in contact wtih him after he killed our mother." Damon said, keeping up with all my questions.

"I know now." A voice said behind Damon. We turned to look and found Elena, Ryan, Jordan and Cynthia at the door. I realized it was Elena who spoke. She was shaking with rage, I could practically feel the anger radiating off of her.

"I can explain." Damon said defensively. 

Elena didn't say anything, she just came up to Damon and slapped him across the cheek. Everyone including me had a shocked expression on their face except for Damon, it looked like Damon was expecting this.

"Listen to me." Damon said calmly.

Elena's POV - 

How can he act so calm after this! I was beyond angry. I raised my hand in the air and went to slap him again, but this time he caught my wrists in his hands before me hand made contact with his cheek.

"Please just listen to me, I have an explanation ." Damon pleaded.

I sighed. I decided to listen to him, but that didn't mean I was forgiving him.

"Fine, I'm listening. But that doesn't mean that we're going to go back to being best friends, I will never forgive you." I said.

"You can decide if you want to be my friend or not after I'm done explainind." Damon said.

"Okay talk already." Cynthia said.
