Ch. 14

*Peyton's pov*
They put a shot into Lauren's arm
"What's wrong with her?" I yell at the nurse
"Because of how hard she got hit she can sometimes become dillusional" the nurse says
I brake down and cry " NO! FIX HER!!! Please, please I need my best friend back" I beg
Niall pulls me into a hug "it's ok Peyton, it's ok"
"Don't you care Niall? She thinks Nathan is going to kill her she's dillusional" I say shaking him
"Of course I care, but I know Nathan can't hurt her anymore" he whispers in my ear
Louis runs into the room "PEYTON WHATS WRONG?" He yells
"I'm fine Louis." I says brushing him off
"I heard you scream!" He says and pulls me into a hug
"I said I was fine get off of me!" I shout
"Peyton baby I was just..." He says
But I cut him off "don't call me that!"
"Peyton why don't we leave you to sit with Lauren for a while?" Niall says
I nod
"It's ok Louis, she's just having a lot of trouble seeing Lauren like this" Niall says to Louis as they leave
I fall into the chair besides Lauren's bed
I grab her hand and sob
"Please Lauren I need you" I say shaking her
I sit there for ours sobbing over Lauren's motionless body until I'm lifted up and carried away like I'm 5
"Let's go home baby" Louis whispers in my ear
I turn my head so I'm facing him but my head is still on his shoulder "I'm sorry I yelled at you"
"It's ok baby, I understand that this has been really hard on you" Louis says as he carries me through the empty halls of the hospital
"I just want her to be ok" I say
"She will be, the doctor said we can come see her tomorrow morning" Louis says
"Ok" I yawn
"Go to sleep baby girl, I've got you" Louis says
"Stay with me tonight?" I ask
"Of course" he says and kisses my cheek
"Goodnight Louis" I say and drift off
*Louis' pov*
I drive to my flat very slowly careful not to wake Peyton
"It's like waking up to half a blue sky, walking around with just one shoe, I'm half a heart with out you" I sing
Once we get back to my flat I carry her into the large apartment "one day we'll live here together" I say to Peyton
I lay her in the bed and lay next to her "good night my angel"
"Good night Lou" she says
"How long have you been awake?" I ask
"Since you almost dropped me walking up the stairs" she giggles
"I'd never drop you" I say
"I know" she says and lays her head on my chest
"I love you" I whisper and kiss the top of her head
"I love you too" she says
A couple minutes later I hear her breathing slow and feel her body relax
I wrap my arm around her abdomen but I don't sleep
The sound of Peyton screaming replays over and over in my head. It breaks me to think of how she would be with Lauren. Peyton and Lauren are each other's other half. When there not together there's only half of Peyton. There's a reason why Peyton was the first person Lauren called for when she woke up. There more than best friends they really are soul mates. The two of them see no other point in life except eachother, well there's me and Niall but our relationships with them are nothing like the one they have with eachother. Peyton has been by Lauren's side every step of the way. They truely are soul mates.
