Ch.20

I wake to the sound of Niall snoring I laugh to see his sleeping face
I look around to see if anyone is awake and Louis is
"Hey Lou" I say quietly
"Hey love" he whispers trying to not wake Peyton "how do you feel?"
"Better" I say
"That's good" he says through a smile
"Do you think the baby is ok?" I ask
"Yea, both you and Niall are fighters why would your baby be any different" he chuckles
I smile "thanks Lou"
"Peyton was really worried about you" he says
"I know, she's so good to me, I don't know how I deserve her" I say softly
"I don't know how I deserve her either" he says
I laugh
"Go back to sleep Lauren, you need rest" he whispers
"Ok Lou" I say and close my eyes
I'm woken up what feels like minutes later but it's actually been 3 hours
"Hey laur, the doctors here she wants to check you before we go home" Peyton says
"What for" I ask
"She just wants to make sure that there's been no progression with the baby, and do an ultrasound to see her position" Peyton says
I nod
"Alright Lauren, would you like to start with the ultrasound or me checking you?" The doctor asks
"Doesn't matter to me" I say
"I'll check you first to get it over with" she smiles
I make Niall follow my eyes to the door
"I can't stay?" He asks
"Not when she's checking you know in there but you can come back for the ultrasound" I say
"It's not like I haven't seen it before" Niall complains
"Niall. Do you really want to get a pregnant women mad?" I threaten
"Fine. Come on Lou" Niall says and walks out the room with Louis trailing behind him
Peyton stands up
"No P, please stay I need someone's hand to hold" I say
She nods and sits down without a word
"Alright Lauren" the doctor says and pulls on her gloves. She pulls the blanket off me
"If I could have you open up your legs that would be helpful" she says
"Oh yea sorry" I say and laugh
I lift my knees up so my feet are flat on the bed and I move my legs apart
She puts a finger in
"Owwww" I whimper
Peyton squeezes my hand
"Sorry honey" the doctor sympathizes
"Your doing great laur" Peyton says
"Ok Lauren the baby's head is right where it should be" she says
"Awesome!" I say
"Peyton go get the boys?" I say
"Be right back" she says and leaves the room ,
I lay my legs back down normally and pull the blanket up just below my bump and pull my gown up to underneath my boobs
Niall,Louis and Peyton come in and Niall rushes to my side "did she hurt you?" He shouts
"No Niall in fine" I say
"And the baby?" Louis asks
"Is good" I answer
The baby is progressing at a great rate and is perfect in every way, I can't wait to meet her
