Ch.32

*Louis' POV*
I spent the night rocking Peyton and trying to hold in my tears being as strong as possible for her. Losing a child is the worst thing I think anyone can go through. I know our child was no more than 2 months old and I never saw it but I still loved it with all my heart. Only time will help me and Peyton get over this and then when we're married and ready we'll try again and have a baby and then more babies after that. I don't know how I'll be able to go back to the band or go on tour I think I want to take a break. Paul will never let me. But maybe if me and Niall just don't come back they'll move on. No that won't happen either. I'll talk to Niall maybe he'll have an idea because I know he doesn't want to go back either and why should he? Peyt needs her dad around and Niall isn't the same when he's away from Lauren. He's bringing down the band as am I and the fans deserve the best so it is better for everybody if me and Niall take off for a while and then when we're ready we'll ease back into it.
"Hey Niall!!!" I shout walking downstairs
"I'm in the kitchen Lou"Niall shouts back
"Do you wanna go grab some lunch or something we need to talk" I say
"Your not breaking up with me Louis are you?" Niall says and chuckles
"Shut up, I didn't mean that to sound like we were going on a date" I say and punch him in the arm
"I know I'm only kidding" he says and flicks my ear
"So lunch?" I say and flick him back
"Sure, we can go now I'm not doing anything" he says and pokes me in the stomach hard
"Great" I say in a weird accent and grab his cheeks and pinch them and say "you are such a cutie"
"Oh thank you grandma Tomo I spend hours exercising my facial cheeks" he says and laughs
I pat his cheek and walk away to get dressed
"Peyton I'm gonna go grab lunch with Niall we have to talk about something's did you want me to grab anything while I'm out?" I say walking into the guest bedroom where Peyton is laying on the bed looking through her phone
"Get me a coffee?" She says quietly "you know how I like it"
"Of course" I say and kiss her head
I slip on a pair of sneakers and a jacket and put on a snap back and sun glasses.
I grab my keys and kiss Peyton's lips lightly say "I love you" and leave the room
*Niall's pov*
"Honey I'm going out I'll be home soon" I tell Lauren
"Alright but when you get home we need to talk about maybe setting a date for the wedding" she say quietly
"Ok but you know I've told you before when ever you want is fine with me" I say and kiss her and leave
"Let's go Lou" I shout and walk out of the house
*at the restaurant*
"We can't do this anymore Niall, were both bringing the band down" Louis says to me once we've had a table and sit down
"I know mate, but we can't just quit" I say
"I know but maybe we could take a break, you know just a little while for a couple months and then when we're ready we can go back" Louis says
"Yea that's a good idea" I say "it's what's best for everybody"
"We can call management tomorrow" Louis says and leaves money on the table and we get up and leave
Once we walk in to the house I hear Peyt screaming and Lauren looks totally stressed out
"Take her!!" Lauren shouts at me
"Of course" I say "why don't you and Peyton go out for a bit me and Louis can watch Peyt"
"Finally, I mean she is your daughter too" Lauren says and hands me Peyt and walks off in a huff
"What was that about?" Louis says
"Who knows" I answer and rock Peyt in my arms and soothe her until she's quiet
"Somebody likes their daddy" Peyton says walking down the stairs
"Hey looks who's up" Louis says and goes to greet Peyton
They embrace and Louis kisses Peyton's head and I hear Peyton whisper "we'll be alright"
