Twenty Two

Kristen opened the door and squealed with excitement. "Yay, you guys are here! Come on in!"

Julia followed Allie into the dorm and looked around. Kristen's dorm was a lot bigger than hers and Eva's.

"Hey, K," Allie said, throwing her backpack down next to the couch. "What's the plan for dinner?"

Kristen scoffed. "It's three o'clock in the afternoon, I'm not worried about dinner yet." She glanced by the door and smiled. "Hey, Julia."

"Hi," Julia said softly as she sat on the cream colored couch. She didn't know Kristen that well, so she felt kind of awkward to be hanging out in her room and listening to her conversations with Allie.

"I talked with Eva earlier and she said she'd be bringing over a special surprise," Kristen said from the kitchen. "She wouldn't tell me what it was, but I have a feeling it will be a certain bottle of liquor stolen from the teacher's lounge..." Allie's eyes lit up.

"Huh?" Julia wasn't sure if she had heard that right. Kristen and Allie both started laughing.

"Relax, Julia, we're not gonna force you to drink," Allie said. "Although I will admit, it does make things more fun." She giggled.

A knock sounded at the door, causing Allie and Kristen to squeal even more. They opened the door and found Eva standing there, grinning while hiding a bottle of wine from inside her backpack. "What's up, bitches? Let's get this party started!"

Julia began to feel even more uneasy as things got moving. She certainly had no interest in drinking tonight, or at all, and she was still secretly hoping that Kristen had an extra pair of pajamas that she could borrow so that she wouldn't have to sleep naked.

"So I talked to the boys and they said they would sneak something over to us from dinner, does that sound okay?" Eva asked as she walked in. "I think the menu for tonight is like chicken nuggets or macaroni and cheese or something." She made eye contact with Julia then. "Oh hey, Castle. I didn't know you were coming."

"Oh, yeah, that sounds good." Kristen took the bottle of wine and took it into the kitchen. "I hope it's mac and cheese.  It's such a good hangover cure." The other girls giggled again.

"Wait, so are the boys sleeping over too?" Julia asked, confused.

"Nah, the DAs won't let them," Kristen replied. "They'll probably just bring the food and maybe hang out for a half hour or something. Mostly just help us get rid of the wine."

"Speaking of," Kristen called out from the kitchen, "let's get going with these games!" The other girls cheered as she brought out the wine bottle.

"What should we play first?" Allie asked.

"Maybe something a little more innocent." Eva glanced in Julia's direction. "Just to get the ball rolling." Julia tried to ignore the subtle snub.

"Then let's play never have I ever!" Kristen decided. "You've played that before, right, Julia? If you've done something another person hasn't, take a drink." Julia nodded uneasily.

"I'll start," Allie said. "Never have I ever... masturbated." She wiggles her eyebrows again, like she knew that someone in the room had.

"Lame." Kristen grabbed the bottle and took a swig. Eva followed suit. Julia just stared at the two of them, trying to hide her disgust. Allie glanced over at her and busted out laughing at the look on her face. "Okay Julia, you go then," she said, trying to regain her composure.
