Chapter-4 Apologies

School got over and I had very few classes with Kate and Cara. Fortunately, there were no other class with Sebastian.

''Hey, I'm gonna go to the library and get a few stuffs for my history paper.'',I tell Kelly as Kate and Cara were no where to be seen.
''If you see Kate or Cara, please pass the message.'', I tell Kelly and leave for the library.

I had to do my paper on French Revolution which is pretty boring.
So I considered that the library was the right place to come to as it always had the calm and peaceful air which would avoid any distraction. But I should have known that I was dead wrong.

I was squinting through the large dusty volume of 'Royalty and Revolution' by Isaac Renovo. Pretty interesting choice of name, Issac for physics and Issac for history. Wow, how could anyone actually like history, though French Revolution I can consider.

Suddenly someone comes and sits face to me on the opposite side.
'Hey!', a cold delicious voice says.
I look up to see the same cool steely grey eyes in front of me though their proximity showed the tiny blue specks. They were so beautiful that we were actually looking eye to eye for what it seems two entire seconds.

I blink and move back, my cheeks slightly burning. ''Hi!'', I say quietly.

'' What are you doing?'', Sebastian asks.

'' What do you want pretty boy?'', I give a cautious look.

''Look, I know you are mad at me and I don't blame you.'', he puts his hands up showing his innocence.

I cool my expression a little and look at him . Guys like him have popularity on their way and are always spoiled. And they start to think of themselves as the most gorgeous, popular and haughty people on earth.

''All I wanna say is that I am really very sorry.'', he says, his voice tender and soft which kinda thawed me a bit.

'' What is your intention boy?'', I say really trying hard to keep my voice stable. All I wanted to do was grab him and give a solid kick in his arse.

''Hey I am sorry. I mean it.'', his voice was pleading now.
''Fine.'', I say looking back at the book again and scribbling down points.
He was quiet then.
His sudden silence ignited my curiosity. I look up to see his quiet set face looking at me, his eyes serene and calm.

''You want something?'', I ask him feeling completely weird. Was there longing in his eyes that I see and pain? I could never associate him with such human capabilities that I double take back.

''Oh, I guess there is nothing more to be said other than that I am really sorry for what I did. I kinda had a rough day then.'', he gets up and walks away.

Wow, I thought I was gonna do something great and act all egoistic whereas he went away making 'me' feel guilty. I mentally face palm myself for doing such a great job.

Why did I care anyway?

I take the huge book and walk towards the librarian and borrow it.
I take a sharp turn and collide into a fleshy wall. I step back to see Sebastian gazing at me, perhaps a few inches above me.

''Sorry again.'', he whispers.
I give my best death glare and say,''Now what ?''

''I was thinking if you could stop hating me and see me unbiased.'', he says.

''Biased, am I?'', I ask calmly.

I push him aside and walk towards the corridor. He runs and catches up with me.

''Look-'', I stop him and tell,''How do you see a person who dashed by you and then instead of sorry, calls you a bitch and walks away giving a death glare as if it was your fault?'', I say coldly.

''Look can you just give me one chance and come to know the real me.?'', he pleads again.

''Why does it matter so much to you? If I am mad at you or happy?'', I ask curiously.

'' I don't know myself and also I m not really that keen to make enemies on the first day of my school.'', he explains.

''Ok.'',I say again slightly annoyed. This is not right. He is supposed to be the one who has the most beautiful and fabulous girl in the campus, not a simple, ordinary girl like me.

He still lurked by me when I was getting my stuffs from the locker, waiting for something. I arch my eyebrows slightly,'' you still didn't say we are even?'',he says.
This time I give a real smile which kind of surprised me too,''Apology accepted.'', and we walk to the school lot.
