The crack of leather and iron cleaved the air, and my flesh. I remembered how I got into this nightmare in the first place, and mentally kicked myself. With each crack of the whip, my tunic and back were ripped wide. The pain was excruciating and unbearable and indescribable.

Six. Amittai.
I counted my beloveds on my skin.

Eight. Ostracised.
Nine. Judgements.
I realised the pits of society will always be the same, no matter the planet.
Ten. Racism.
Eleven. Sexism.
Twelve. Discrimination.
