I sat in my office smoking on the last of my blunt and thinking about how lucky I was to have my family and most importantly my beautiful daughter roya was in her fourth week of school sure I've had calls in the school by the head teacher for her behavior but over the last two weeks she's slightly improved and I'm proud of her today I'm taking her out for lunch just me and her I decided to take her to phantoms creamery I picked her up from dance and drove to the restaurant

Me: so how was your day princess she looked out the window before looking at me 

Roya: two words Flawless cuz I be feeling like Nicki minaj she said flipping her hair I smiled before looking back at the road a hour later I pulled up and parked the car I helped her out and we walked in and was seated  

Me: I just want you to know I'm proud of you roya she looked at me and then menu

Waiter: hello I'm gonna be taking your order what may I get you 

Roya: don't you start off with drink I looked at him and he nodded slowly 

Waiter: yea sorry what may I get y'all 

Roya: okay Imma get a coke daddy what you what I looked at her like who's paying me or you 

Me: imma get a sprite he nodded slowly walking away 

Roya: he ain't got a damn clue what he doing I chuckled at her as the guy came back with our drinks 

Waiter: alright here we are coke for you sir and a sprite for the little girl 

Roya: nigga first off I'm soon to be seven and second I didn't order the following I ordered the cook she said with head head to the side 

Waiter: I'm not a nigga he said using two fingers 

Roya: oh you one of them niggas I'm sorry that you have forgotten your black I choked on my sprite looking at her and the Waiter rolled his eyes walking away did he just roll his eyes at me make him roll em again I'll know them outta his socket ...  people ain't got no class these days she said texting on her phone as the Waiter came back again with a fake smile 

Waiter: are you ready to order 

Me: yea imma get the chicken strips and roya baby you want a hot dog 

Roya: daddy don't ever order basic ass food like that for me ever what I am gonna get tho is a Grilled chicken salad with oil and tasty vinegar 

Waiter: how about something from the kids menu 

Roya: I just told you my order now bye bye he smacked his teeth walking away 

Me: you definitely got your mama mouth she smiled and looked down at her iPhone hour later the Waiter came back with our food 

Waiter: here you are sir your chicken strips and a salad for the hood rat 

Roya: TF you just call me 

Waiter: you know what I quit I don't get paid enough for this shit 

Roya: good take your broke ass to Walmart I heard they hiring broke ass niggas I chocked on my chicken strip

Waiter: fuck you 

Roya: fuck me? nigga fuck you and them shoes you call Jordan's like nigga what are thoess I bust up laughing I asked them to wrap up our food and I pulled roya out of the restaurant before shit went down 

Me: still laughing what am I gonna do with you Roy she shrugged drinking her coke

Me: I can't promise you that but imma try Roy she smiled nodding before getting in the car and I sped off going home

Me: Y'all enjoyed yourselves 

Sanjay: man we all know I won that last round

Killo: damn I wonder what my baby is doing we all looked at him before laughing 

me and the boys just came from bowling and were ready to go home I could feel someone watching and as soon as I stepped in the parking lot I tried to brush it off but the feeling stuck to me as we approached the car the only thing I heard was two gun shots go off and I looked at the boys 

Me: y'all go- I noticed Killo had blood coming from his side as he dropped to the floor 

Sanjay: omg we need to get him to the hospital uncle Justin I nodded and put him in the backseat of my car 

Me: GET IN LET'S GO! the boys jumped in as soon as they were in I sped off with tears forming in my eyes 

Sanjay: uncle Justin there's a lot of blood

Me: keep him talking and keep pressure on it were nearly there I looked at Myles who was just crying in the corner and not moving 

Sanjay: MYLES HOLD IT DOWN 

Killo: cried am I gonna die San 

Sanjay: no man you gonna be okay I promise just hold on man 

As soon as I pulled up to the hospital I picked up Killo helpless body running inside the hospital 

Me: SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!! a nurse and doctor took him from me and I turned to Sanjay and Myles who had tears in their eyes I hugged both of them as they cried shit how was I gonna explain this shit to Nate
